Dos Santos is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Al Hammad gets his way!

Dos Santos sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Dos Santos is not content to let Al Hammad control the position.

The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Selmy misses with a takedown attempt - Oliveira sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Oliveira bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Oliveira thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Selmy tries to bench press Oliveira off him but Oliveira keeps the position. Oliveira tries to advance to mount but Selmy denies him. Selmy is trying to improve his position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Oliveira really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Selmy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Selmy is cranking Oliveira's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Oliveira! He's tightened the choke and Oliveira is tapping out!
