2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Neto Brito! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brito tries to clinch but Pukamaku is having none of it. Brito moves in looking to clinch but Pukamaku pushes him off. Brito darts in and clinches Pukamaku up against the cage. Pukamaku takes an elbow to the forehead. Brito stops a takedown attempt from Pukamaku.

Pukamaku is looking to take this one to the mat. Pukamaku lands a takedown into guard.
Brito wants to stand up but Pukamaku is controlling him. Pukamaku might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pukamaku is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Pukamaku content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ground and pound from Pukamaku. Pukamaku scoring with strikes to the body and head. Brito really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pukamaku. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Pukamaku slips a nice elbow through Brito's hands, connecting with Brito's forehead. Pukamaku is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Brito pushes Pukamaku off looking to stand but Pukamaku dives back in and keeps control.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Pukamaku stalling. Brito tries to kick Pukamaku off in order to stand up. Pukamaku Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Pukamaku working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Pukamaku lands a nice forearm strike.
Brito is rocked! Brito is trying to buck Pukamaku off. Pukamaku in side control, just content to control the action for now. Pukamaku cracks Brito with a big right hand but Brito just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pukamaku taking a breather here. Brito wants to get back to his feet but Pukamaku drags him back down. Brito is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Brito is looking to get back to his feet here but Pukamaku is keeping cool and he's managed to take Brito's back. Brito is trying to get back to his feet but Pukamaku has full control of the position and if anything, Brito has just worked his way into a worse spot. Pukamaku lands a shot to the head. Pukamaku is punishing Brito with some ground and pound. Brito is still in real trouble! Can Pukamaku finish him? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pukamaku scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pukamaku throwing damaging strikes from the back! Brito could be in trouble here!
Pukamaku keeps control of the position easily here as Brito tries to buck him off.

Mbaye Pukamaku dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Brito tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pukamaku manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Brito moves in looking to clinch but Pukamaku pushes him off. Pukamaku drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Pukamaku is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Pukamaku content to stall in guard here. Pukamaku cracks Brito with a solid left hand. Brito wants to stand but Pukamaku is controlling the position. Pukamaku seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Pukamaku lands a couple of elbows. Pukamaku scoring with punches to the head and body. Brito is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pukamaku lands a couple of decent looking shots. Pukamaku stands up over Brito, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brito wants to stand up but Pukamaku is controlling him. Pukamaku controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Brito wants to stand but Pukamaku is controlling the position. Pukamaku working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Brito wants to stand but Pukamaku is controlling the position. Pukamaku distracts Brito with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Mbaye Pukamaku overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Pukamaku stands up over Brito, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Pukamaku is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Pukamaku is working Brito over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Pukamaku keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Brito's head. Brito has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Pukamaku off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pukamaku decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Pukamaku stops Brito from getting back to his feet.
Pukamaku lands a big elbow - Brito is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Pukamaku!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schroder shoots in but Drought avoids the takedown attempt easily. Drought connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Drought fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Schroder throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Drought's waist but Drought gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Schroder off to one side. Drought feinted with a counter takedown. Schroder throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Drought is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Schroder. Schroder drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Drought defends it well. Schroder tries to clinch up. Schroder avoids a punch combination nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schroder moves out of range as Drought strikes. Schroder shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Drought but Drought pushes him off and we're back to square one. Randy Drought has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ariel Schroder. Jab, jab by Drought - just one landing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drought misses with an uppercut. Drought cracks Schroder with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Drought has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Schroder to stand back up!
Schroder is rocked! Drought cracks Schroder with a left hook right on the temple and Schroder goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Drought lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Schroder is OK!
