Nigannou lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Biggums circles away quickly and effectively.
Nigannou misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Biggums shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Nigannou counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Biggums definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Biggums changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nigannou tries to avoid it but Biggums manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nigannou to the ground. Nigannou escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Biggums shoots in for a takedown but Nigannou shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Nigannou throws out a counter right but Biggums avoids it with no problem.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dajaun Biggums. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Nigannou moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Biggums! Nigannou continues to tee off on Biggums, landing with a left and a right! Nigannou connects with a right hand that leaves Biggums sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Nigannou!

Saliva closes the distance and pushes Anawalla back into the cage.

Anawalla scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Saliva doesn't seem bothered though.
Anawalla cracks Saliva with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Saliva tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Anawalla pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Saliva is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Prince Anawalla! Prince Anawalla retains his middleweight title!
