2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hiroaki Hidaka! The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Hidaka as he connects with a hook. Knox has been working on his boxing with his coaches at ~T~ Troid - Gym in the buildup to the fight. Hidaka dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Knox misses with a body punch
and Hidaka counters with a lovely straight right hand! Hidaka throws a jab but it's blocked by Knox. Knox throwing a counter right hand but Hidaka manages to avoid it. Knox fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hidaka manages to avoid it. A low kick from Knox misses and Hidaka counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Hidaka has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Knox finds it's way round the side to connect with Hidaka's head. Hidaka slips a jab from Knox. Hidaka uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Hidaka misses with a series of wild punches.
Knox darts in and out, connecting with a jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hidaka with a body punch. A glancing blow. Some bone on bone action there as Hidaka checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Knox takes a shot right to the bread basket. Hidaka throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Knox stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hidaka drops Knox with a beautiful combination! Knox stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hidaka is looking for the KO!
Knox is rocked! Hidaka is stalking Knox. Knox circles to his left. Keeps circling left. Bam! Straight right from Hidaka, and it's lights out! Knox really payed the price for that rookie mistake.

Karlsson holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Golem's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ioannou goes for a double leg but Van Wijnbergen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Van Wijnbergen continues to drive forward. Van Wijnbergen quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Ioannou shoots for a double leg takedown but Van Wijnbergen sprawls well. He's pushed Ioannou's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ioannou switches off momentarily and Van Wijnbergen cracks him with a monster right hand! Ioannou topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Van Wijnbergen dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Van Wijnbergen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Linkki scores with a decent looking hook. The fighters circling - Linkki throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Linkki is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Braz. Braz tries for a takedown but Linkki sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
