The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimura rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Buakaw counters with a right hand to the body.
Kimura takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Buakaw scores with a decent looking hook.
Buakaw scores with a one two! Kimura had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Buakaw has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Yaw-Yan MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Buakaw lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Kimura loads up on a big right hand but Buakaw slips the punch.
Buakaw feints a jab promting Kimura to slip. Buakaw then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kimura slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

and Buakaw connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Kimura has an Americana. Buakaw didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Kimura is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Kimura hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Shinya Aoki was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
