The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thomas drops Campbell with a beautiful combination! Campbell stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Thomas is looking for the KO!
It looks like Lawrence Campbell has been cut. Thomas misses with a wild body shot. Campbell scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Thomas makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Campbell tries to score a power double leg takedown but Thomas sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Campbell somewhat. Thomas dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Campbell has had enough and taps out.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robinson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but omka swivels and escapes. Robinson shoots in for a takedown but omka shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Robinson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Robinson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. omka moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. omka keeping moving, preventing Robinson from controlling successfully. Robinson slips nicely into half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Robinson seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but omka does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Well, if Robinson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. omka wants to get back to full guard. Robinson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so omka is just riding it out for now. Robinson eventually gives up the hold. omka is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Robinson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. omka is in trouble now - Robinson has advanced to mount! omka looks gassed! Robinson avoids the attempt from omka to control. Robinson looking to control and managing it successfully. omka is wriggling around trying to escape.

Robinson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of omka's face.

Robinson has hold of omka's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and omka manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Robinson is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. omka can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
omka is looking to improve his position but Robinson isn't that keen on the idea.

I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. omka is squirming around, avoiding Robinson's attempts to control the action. Robinson is really struggling to control omka but he's trying to hold on to the position. BOOM! Robinson connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith shoots in for a double leg but Donalds sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. A swing and a miss from Smith. Good standup being displayed there by Smith as he connects with a hook. Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Smith fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Mack Donalds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rickhard Smith. Donalds throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Donalds looks to land a combination. Smith sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
It looks like Rickhard Smith has been cut. Donalds throws out a powerful jab. Smith doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Smith throws a leg kick that misses. Smith closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Smith dives in and grabs Donalds's left leg, looking for a takedown. Donalds pushes down on Smith's head and hops out. Smith looks gassed! Smith takes one to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Smith fails with an attempt to clinch.
Smith is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Donalds fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Smith closes this distance looking for a takedown but Donalds circles away. Donalds displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Donalds connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's one minute gone in the round. Donalds looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Smith throws a hook but Donalds avoids it easily. Smith takes a body punch but keeps moving. Smith walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Donalds lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Donalds lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Donalds jabs at Smith's body. Nice straight punches there by Donalds. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Donalds. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Donalds scores with a shot to the body.

Smith is trying desperately to land a takedown but Donalds is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Smith. Donalds uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Donalds digs a good body shot into Smith's ribs. Donalds scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Smith is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That has opened up Rickhard Smith's cut even more. Donalds motions for Smith to come forward. Donalds throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Donalds lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Smith falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maia scores with a nice body kick.
Dean looks gassed! Maia lands a jab to Dean's midsection. A nice leg kick lands there from Maia. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Dean crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Maia - the referee stops the clock and Dean gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Maia. Dean manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Maia digs a good body shot into Dean's ribs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Maia cracks the inside of Dean's front leg. Dean gets caught flat footed, as Maia shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Maia chips away with some ground and pound. Maia is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Dean has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Maia has passed into side control.
Dean really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maia. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Maia lands a few punches from side control. Maia is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Dean looks calm but he's in trouble here. Maia gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Dean is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Maia lets go of the hold and Dean can pop his arm back in it's socket.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ellagrande shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Ellagrande keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Ellagrande keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Silva. Ellagrande tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Silva swivels and escapes. Ellagrande shoots for a double leg takedown but Silva sprawls well. He's pushed Ellagrande's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brandon Ellagrande. That's going to take a lot out of him. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Crombie prevents Ripper from getting back to his feet. Crombie working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Ripper's head. Crombie lands a couple of elbows. Crombie stands up over Ripper, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Ripper wants to stand but Crombie is controlling the position.
