The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beauzart shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Beauzart takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Beauzart throws a sloppy head kick and Collins moves out of range easily. Beauzart gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Collins to score an easy takedown into full guard. Collins loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Collins avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

McGraw misses the shot to the body. McGraw wants to clinch and McGraw takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Virtanen uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from McGraw. Virtanen is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from McGraw. Fast McGraw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. That was a close round but I would say that Nick Virtanen will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Fast McGraw's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Askren clinches up against the cage. Riot tries for a takedown but Askren manages to get underhooks.
Askren has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Riot clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Askren loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Riot hold on?
Askren has the hooks in. Riot is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Askren lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Riot.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paulie lands a jab-cross combination. Paulie throws a shot from downtown. Laranja moves away and avoids it. Laranja appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Paulie tries to clinch up. Paulie swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Laranja is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Paulie has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. This has been an exciting period of action!
