Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Monsanto (ranked 7730 p4p, 399 weight class) and Moganesh Jain (ranked 7433 p4p, 394 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Monsanto might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Drain You - Nirvana. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jain avoids the head kick by Monsanto.
Monsanto misses with a straight right. Monsanto throws a left and a right that both miss
and Jain counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Monsanto wants to stand and escape but Jain is having none of it. Jain seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jain prevents Monsanto from getting back to his feet. Jain is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Monsanto is looking to stand back up but Jain counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Monsanto. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Still in half guard, Jain seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jain passes the guard and advances to mount! Monsanto is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Jain is trying to take his opponent's back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jain fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Jain content just to control the position here. Monsanto is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Jain swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Hunt misses. Murhapuro cracks Hunt with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Murhapuro lands a really nice looking cross but Hunt seems unphased.
It looks like Koli Hunt has been cut. Hunt clinches up with Murhapuro and pushes him back against the cage. Murhapuro is looking to control Hunt's arms but Hunt gets an underhook and turns him. Now Murhapuro has his back to the cage. Murhapuro swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Murhapuro breaks the clinch.
Murhapuro jabs Hunt right on the nose. Hunt blinks but takes it well. Hunt moves away from the strike by Murhapuro. Murhapuro works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Hunt gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Murhapuro misses with a wild combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hunt bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hunt looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Murhapuro is trying to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Murhapuro looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Murhapuro looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hunt wants to stand up but Murhapuro is controlling the position.
Murhapuro on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Murhapuro tries to get out of the position. Hunt passes into side control, despite Murhapuro's attempt to control the position.
Murhapuro is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hunt off and has taken his back! Hunt just trying to survive but Murhapuro is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Hunt is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Murhapuro gets his way!
Hunt trying to control the hands but Murhapuro breaks the grip. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Murhapuro is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Hunt knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Hunt for a finish. Murhapuro is trying to stick to Hunt's back but Hunt is turning into Murhapuro. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Murhapuro's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hunt. Murhapuro is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Hunt frees his head nicely. Oh but Murhapuro has switched to an armbar! Hunt is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drive misses with a body punch
and Tantor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Drive loads up on a big right hand but Tantor slips the punch. Drive ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Tantor sizes up Drive with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Tantor punishes Drive's body with a nice straight punch. Drive takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Drive misses the body punch letting Tantor counter with a right hand. Tantor fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Drive on the side of the head. Tantor throws a poor cross that misses
and Drive counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tantor moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Drive takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Drive misses with a left hand and Tantor counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Drive is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Drive thuds a left hand into Tantor's body. Oh Drive is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Drive takes a swing at Tantor's ribcage but misses. A slapping leg kick lands for Tantor.
Drive seems to have got his legs back now. Drive blocks a jab. Drive is looking to counter punch. Tantor misses with a wild body shot. Drive takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Tantor throws a front kick that sends Drive stumbling back into the cage. Drive uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tantor. Drive throws a right hand that misses
and Tantor counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Tantor rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Drive makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Drive drops his hands momentarily and Tantor takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Drive throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Tantor appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Drive walks forward, straight into a front kick from Tantor. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Drive misses with a hook
and Tantor cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Tantor moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tantor.

and Tantor counters with a low kick, right behind Drive 's knee. Tantor throws a big shot that misses. Drive is looking to counter punch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tantor pushes Drive away with a front kick. Good leg kick by Tantor there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Tantor connects with a jab. Tantor misses with an uppercut. It looked like Drive wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Tantor changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Drive throws a shot to the body.

letting Tantor counter with a right hand. Drive looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Drive misses the body punch and Tantor counters with an inside leg kick. A jab from Tantor misses. An attempted straight right counter from Drive misses the target.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tantor throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tantor with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Drive misses with a hook. Tantor misses the shot to the body. A little feinted left hand from Drive on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Drive will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. A good leg kick by Tantor. Drive misses with a jab to the body
and Tantor counters with a nice leg kick. Tantor loads up on a big right hand but Drive slips the punch. Tantor lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Drive throws an off balance right hand
and Tantor counters with a lovely straight right hand! Tantor drops his hands momentarily and Drive takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Maki Tantor dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Drive moves away from the strike by Tantor. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Tantor in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Drive keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Tantor. Tantor lands a nice hook to Drive's body. Drive takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Drive ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tantor moves away. Tantor connects with an inside leg kick. Tantor throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Tantor throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tantor lands a nice looking body shot.

Drive takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Drive misses with a shot to the body and Drive takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. That kick from Tantor tenderised Drive's leg. Drive is trying to keep his angry face on. Drive misses with a straight right. A countering left hand to the body from Tantor misses. Drive slips under a jab from Tantor. Tantor throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Drive on the side of the head. Tantor lands a slapping body shot.
Tantor scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Drive is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tantor misses with a left hand and Drive counters with a straight punch to the midsection. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Drive tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Drive misses with a right hand and Tantor counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tantor throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Tantor thumps Drive with a low kick. Drive throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Tantor counters with a nice uppercut. Tantor moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Drive misses with a right hand and Tantor counters with a nice low kick that buckles Drive's knee momentarily. Jab, jab by Drive - just one landing. Tantor lands a nice shot that snaps Drive's head back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Tantor. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Tantor. Tantor with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

and Tantor counters with a crisp right hand that drops Drive! Tantor lets Drive back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Drive looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tantor throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Drive crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

Belfort looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Malaka with a short hammerfist.
