Markov fails with a takedown attempt.
Danilov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Markov.
Danilov throws a series of punches but Markov moves out of range.
Danilov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Markov.
Ruslan Danilov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lazar Markov.

Markov's coach down at 3Band MMA ($800/week) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Markov's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Markov takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Markov tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Markov crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Danilov - the referee stops the clock and Markov gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Danilov. Markov manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
