1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cameron De Neys! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Bart Greer and Santiago Holmes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Neys darts in looking for a takedown but Smith gets double underhooks and turns De Neys into the cage. It looked like Smith was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. De Neys closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Smith to the mat! Smith manages to get full guard. Smith controls De Neys momentarily but De Neys frees himself. De Neys passes into half guard. Smith wants to control but De Neys is keeping busy.
De Neys working the head and body with strikes. Smith has hold of De Neys's hands but De Neys slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. De Neys landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. De Neys working Smith over with strikes. De Neys tries to pass the half guard into mount. Smith knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Smith has hold of De Neys's hands but De Neys slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. De Neys lands a nice short elbow. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! De Neys is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. De Neys is pressing down on Smith's thigh, looking to free his foot. Smith is holding on for now.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shaw avoids the head kick by Vluehorn.
Shaw instigates a clinch. Shaw lands with a left to the head. Vluehorn is trying to push Shaw away but Shaw has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Shaw tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Shaw presses Vluehorn against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Vluehorn has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Shaw gets underhooks to prevent Vluehorn's takedown attempt.

Shaw throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Shaw not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kyle Vluehorn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Vluehorn throws a series of punches but Shaw moves out of range. Shaw forces Vluehorn back against the cage and clinches. Vluehorn manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Shaw throws a strike but Vluehorn rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Shaw keeping moving, preventing Vluehorn from controlling successfully. Shaw looking for a sweep. And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Shaw on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Shaw tries to get out of the position. Shaw not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Vluehorn seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vluehorn is continuing to stall.

"Ole!" shouts Vluehorn as he jumps to the side. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Holmes is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Guerrero pulls his head out easily. Holmes looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Holmes blocking the ground and pound attempt from Guerrero. Guerrero is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arteezy misses with an uppercut. Payakaroon punishes Arteezy's body with a nice straight punch. Arteezy throws a poor cross that misses
and Payakaroon counters with a straight right hand. Payakaroon ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Arteezy moves away. Horrible takedown attempt by Arteezy or perhaps it was just good defense by Payakaroon, which made it look bad. Payakaroon definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Payakaroon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Arteezy.
Arteezy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Arteezy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Payakaroon defends it well. Arteezy thumps the canvas. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Kimura. Kimura shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Knives is trying to defend but Kimura finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kimura has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage. Kimura content to control rather than advance. Kimura seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Knives for as long as he can get away with. Kimura continues to stall. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Ndlandla. No joy for Gracie on that attempt. Ndlandla was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Ndlandla throws a hook but Gracie avoids it easily. Ndlandla avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ndlandla keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Gracie dives in and grabs Ndlandla's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ndlandla pushes down on Gracie's head and hops out. Gracie takes a swing at Ndlandla's ribcage but misses. Ndlandla will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Blackbeard stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Khamsing is looking for the KO! This has been an exciting period of action! Blackbeard lands with a straight right. Khamsing didn't see that one coming. Khamsing looks up at the clock. Bad move! Blackbeard lands a right hand from hell, dropping Khamsing. Blackbeard pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
