The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Krimson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rocha Barros stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Rocha Barros bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Krimson jabs Rocha Barros right on the nose. Rocha Barros blinks but takes it well. Krimson misses with a body shot.
Rocha Barros looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Krimson jabbing away but nothing is landing. A telegraphed right hand from Krimson misses the target. Krimson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rocha Barros sees it coming and avoids it easily. Krimson misses the jab. Krimson misses the shot to the body. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Rocha Barros might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Krimson has got the better of the exchanges.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Richards is defended easily by Ahr. A countering left hand to the body from Ahr misses. Richards fails with the takedown and Ahr counters into the clinch. Nicely done. A nice left hand lands by Ahr.

Ahr will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Richards up against the cage. Ahr is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. A head punch blocked on the inside by Ahr. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ahr drops down looking for an ankle pick but Richards pulls his leg out and moves away.
Richards fails with the takedown and Ahr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Richard Richards. That's going to take a lot out of him. Richards looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ahr is fending him off so far but Richards persists. Nope, Ahr circles away and we're back to standing.

Ahr has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Richards is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Ahr is trying to trip Richards. Richards might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Richards is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position.
