The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lingus feints and as Thomas raises his hands in defense, Lingus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lingus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Thomas manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Lingus has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Thomas after a bit of a struggle.
Thomas is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Lingus pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Lingus turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Lingus manages to end up in side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Creed is backing up but Hayes catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Creed covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Hayes Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
