Viv fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Viv has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Crespo shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Viv is trying to defend but Crespo finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Crespo will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thomas Hawk.
