A swing and a miss from Kazehaya.
Hale slips under a jab from Kazehaya.
Hale tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Hale ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hale defending well as Kazehaya loads up on a big left hand.
Kazehaya catches Hale with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Kazehaya feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Hales jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Kazehaya dives in and scores a takedown into Hale's guard.

Hale has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kazehaya can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Kazehaya got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hale has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kazehaya has managed to get both his arms back between Hale's legs - danger averted.

Kazehaya is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Kazehaya is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hale couldn't care less - he's delighted!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Romeo defends it nicely.
As Gracie looks to move away, Romeo throws a big counter combo but Gracie just gets out of the way.
Gracie swings for the body but Romeo moves out of range.
Gracie misses with a body shot
and Romeo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

It looks like Royce Gracie has been cut.
Gracie is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Romeo.
Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Romeo.
Gracie feints the counter takedown.
Romeo throws a looping overhand right but Gracie ducks down to avoid it.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Romeo as he jumps to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Romeo connects with a good right hand that stumbles Gracie. Gracie circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Romeo keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Romeo uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
A big left from Gracie misses.

Romeo cracks Gracie with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Romeo scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gracie in his tracks.

Romeo tries to sprawl but Gracie drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Gracie is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Romeo is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
