Well Shu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

ONeill doesn't care though - he's delighted!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vaquero feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Vaquero sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Siete's guard.
Siete strikes from the bottom but Vaquero passes into mount!
Siete is in all sorts of trouble here.

Siete is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Vaquero tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Siete really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Vaquero. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Vaquero working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Siete turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Vaquero off and cradles Siete's limp body as Vaquero celebrates with his corner.
