Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bryce Harper Jr (ranked 7663 p4p, 646 weight class) and Joey Johnson (ranked 7790 p4p, 648 weight class). Harper Jr comes into the arena with MachineHead-Bush blaring out of the sound system. Johnson has chosen Welcome to the jungle as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A swing and a miss from Harper Jr. Sloppy strikes from Harper Jr. Those never looked like landing. Harper Jr lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Johnson moves away from the strike by Harper Jr. Harper Jr throws a sloppy head kick and Johnson moves out of range easily. Harper Jr throws a head kick that Johnson semi-blocks.

Bryce Harper Jr was interviewed post fight and said 'He stuck his finger up my ass and i froze, then he ko'd me. What kind of guy puts his finger in another man's ass, i want to win but i'm not doing that...'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drago throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pickens tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Drago is in Pickens's guard. Pickens looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Pickens keeping moving, preventing Drago from controlling successfully. Pickens controls Drago momentarily but Drago frees himself. Drago is working Pickens over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Drago slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drago looking to pass the guard. Drago is pushing down on Pickens's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pickens is fighting to maintain full guard but Drago has managed to sneak the leg through.

Pickens definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Pickens wants to control but Drago is keeping busy and won't allow it. Drago is nestled in close to Pickens, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Drago really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pickens. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Drago lands strikes from half guard. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Pickens doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Drago. Drago is looking to take a break and control but Pickens is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Drago has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Drago pulls guard. Pickens throws a strike but Drago rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Drago stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pickens swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drago pushes down on Pickens's leg and manages to get into half guard. Pickens is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Drago's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Drago's back! Drago tries to break free.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gray tries to keep at a distance but Snyder has taken the fight into the clinch. Gray could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Snyder tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Snyder lands with a right to the head. Gray manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Snyder. Snyder misses with some punches.
Gray is looking for a takedown. Snyder doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Gray tries to score a body lock takedown but Snyder shows good agility there to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jim Gray. That's going to take a lot out of him. Snyder lands a left hand that snaps the head of Gray backwards. Snyder floors Gray with a big punch on the inside! Gray is trying to recover but Snyder dives into side control.

Gaucho is pressed up against the cage. Fell has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gaucho down to the mat. Gaucho avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Fell goes for a double leg but Gaucho avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gaucho continues to drive forward. Gaucho moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adesilva moves out of range as Wallace throws a body kick.
Adesilva is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wallace. Wallace fails with a takedown attempt. Wallace sets himself, and Adesilva steps forward looking for the clinch! Wallace avoids it this time. Decent striking displayed by Adesilva there.
It looks like Jackson Wallace has been cut. Wallace throws a hook to the side of Adesilva's head but Adesilva sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Adesilva connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Wallace momentarily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Adesilva slips under a jab. Adesilva misses the shot to the body. Wallace could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Wallace throws the kick towards the body but Adesilva avoids it. Wallace misses the shot to the body. Adesilva appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Adesilva. Wallace blocks a jab. Adesilva tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Wallace counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Adesilva pushes Wallace off but Wallace dives into side control.
Wallace is staying tight to Adesilva's torso, preventing him from escaping. Wallace thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Wallace is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Adesilva is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wallace prevents Adesilva from escaping the position. Wallace is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Adesilva has escaped the position, nice work there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wallace tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wallace has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wallace cracks Adesilva with an elbow. That is naaassty. Adesilva really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wallace. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wallace moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Wallace has hold of Adesilva's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Adesilva tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Wallace cranks the arm and Adesilva screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Adesilva, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Beltrad takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wius lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Beltrad at a distance.
A left lands for Wius. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Beltrad. Wius swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Wius connects with a single shot there. Beltrad is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Beltrad shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wius sprawls well. Wius wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Beltrad gets slowly back to his feet. Craig Wius seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wius with a jab. Wius lands with an uppercut that bounces Beltrad off the cage and back into range. Wius looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Wius not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Wius wants to free his trapped foot but Beltrad is holding on for dear life with his legs. Wius looks to land a strike but Beltrad avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wius trying to control the position from guard on top but Beltrad is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wius slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are working up against the cage. Beltrad manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action! Beltrad gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Wius.

Wius pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Wius lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Wius thuds his shin into the meat of Beltrad's side. Wius darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Wius lands with an uppercut that bounces Beltrad off the cage and back into range. Wius fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Beltrad has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Wius lands a lovely overhand right. Beltrad shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wius as he jumps to the side. Wius is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Beltrad with a body shot. Beltrad misses with a wild body shot. Beltrad shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wius but Wius pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wius tries to sprawl but Beltrad drives through with a takedown into half guard. Wius manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Beltrad keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nice body punch from Wius. Wius tries a body shot but Beltrad blocks it.
Beltrad works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Wius trying to keep a closed guard but Beltrad is proving a slippery customer.

Craig Wius dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Wius enables Beltrad to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wius manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Wius has his feet on Beltrad's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Beltrad shoots in but Wius avoids the takedown attempt easily. Wius lands a nice leg kick that just misses Beltrad's sensitive parts. Beltrad fails to land the takedown. Beltrad is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Wius lands with a straight right. Beltrad didn't see that one coming. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Beltrad takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Wius thuds his right hand into Beltrad's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Wius scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Wius scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Wius lands with a straight right. Beltrad didn't see that one coming. Wius ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Wius shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Beltrad is trying to defend but Wius finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Wius not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Wius working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Wius missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Wius is nestled in close to Beltrad, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Wius has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wius throwing shots but Beltrad is blocking nicely.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Wius accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Beltrad wants to get back to his feet but Wius is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Wius must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Wius working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Wius trying to control the position from guard on top but Beltrad is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Beltrad working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Wius. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Craig Wius showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Horrible takedown attempt by Beltrad or perhaps it was just good defense by Wius, which made it look bad. Beltrad takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A lazy left from Wius finds it's target. Beltrad throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Wius only half commits to the counter leg kick. Beltrad walks into a straight right hand from Wius. Wius clobbers Beltrad with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Beltrad takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Beltrad ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wius moves away. Wius throws a good cross that connects.
Wius manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Beltrad on his heels. He'll look to pass Beltrad's guard now, I'm sure. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Wius pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Beltrad is keeping the position for now. Wius throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wius postures up in Beltrad's guard and throws a big left but Beltrad blocks it. Beltrad utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Wius trying to control but Beltrad is working from the bottom. Wius is working Beltrad over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Wius looking to sit in guard and control but Beltrad gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Beltrad wants to pass the guard but Wius is keeping the position. Beltrad slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beltrad seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wius for as long as he can get away with. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Beltrad continues to stall. Beltrad trying to control but Wius is working from the bottom. Wius is pulling down on Beltrad's head. It's preventing any offense from Beltrad, at least for the moment. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Wius is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Beltrad shoots in for a takedown but Wius shows good takedown defense.

Wius punishes Beltrad's body with a nice straight punch. Nice sprawl there from Beltrad as Wius shoots in. Jab by Wius. Beltrad walks into a jab. Wius connects with a good right hand that stumbles Beltrad. Beltrad circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Beltrad looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rodger Beltrad. That's going to take a lot out of him. A left lands for Wius. Beltrad closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wius tries to get to full guard but Beltrad has control of the leg. Wius gets full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Beltrad distracts Wius with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Beltrad passes easily into side control. Nice work. Wius can't do much from the bottom here. Beltrad in side control, throwing shots but Wius defends. Beltrad scores with punches from side control. A bit of a lull in the action here. Rodger Beltrad has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Beltrad is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Wius knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
And that's the end of the fight! Craig Wius comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Wius has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pleez dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Pleez takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
It looks like Yez Pleez has been cut. We've been told by Trigger's head coaches at Chris Leben KO Academy that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Pleez tries to close the distance and clinch but Trigger swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Trigger swings for the body but Pleez moves out of range.
Pleez wants to clinch but Trigger slips to the side and Pleez takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Trigger wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Trigger lands a big uppercut and Pleez crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Pleez looks OK. Trigger waves Pleez back to his feet!
Pleez is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Trigger lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Pleez - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Trigger!
