The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Heart misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hudson.
Hudson is looking for the big counter here. Hudson shoots for a double leg takedown but Heart sprawls well. He's pushed Hudson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jeff Hudson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Heart connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Nice sprawl there from Heart as Hudson shoots in. We've been hearing reports that Heart has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. A swing and a miss from Heart. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! PO throws a hook but Ashton avoids it easily. A jab from Ashton finds it's way through PO's defenses. PO blocks a head kick by Ashton.
Ashton tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but PO was well out of range. Poor timing from Ashton. PO only half commits to the counter leg kick. PO looks to throw the jab but Ashton is out of range. Ashton drops his hands momentarily and PO takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Ashton is on the wrong end of a nice combination from PO. PO fails to land with a series of punches.
PO dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ashton. That did some damage! PO throws a right and a left that both miss. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ashton misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and PO counters with a three punch combo that has Ashton backing up. Ashton nods at PO to acknowledge the strikes. Oh Ashton is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Ashton drops his hands momentarily and PO needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Ashton just on the top of the head. Ashton drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Ashton - he's done!

Lowe takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Cane lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lowe circles away quickly and effectively. Lowe lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cane takes a body punch but keeps moving. Lowe keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nice straight punches there by Lowe. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Lowe. Lowe is looking to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cane moves into the clinch. Lowe lands a body shot. Lowe works on Cane's body with a couple of short punches. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lowe gets underhooks to prevent Cane's takedown attempt.
Lowe lands an uppercut. Lowe scores with a nice hook to the head. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lowe can't find room to land a body shot as Cane controls the action.

Price has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Official UFC Performance Institute Training Center in the buildup to the fight. Price lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Poohs blocks a low kick nicely. Poohs feints the counter takedown. Price throws a right and a left that Poohs avoids nicely. Poohs with the counter takedown but Price avoids it easily. Price fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Price lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Price misses with a low kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Shackleford, as that shot connected.
Day comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Shackleford on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Shackleford has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Day wants to slow Shackleford down by chopping away at his legs. Shackleford throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Shackleford checks a leg kick nicely. Jab by Day. Day misses with a right hand and Shackleford counters with a stiff right hand. Shackleford throws a nice outside leg kick. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Power throws a front kick aimed at Escobar's knee but Escobar avoids it well. Escobar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Escobar cracks Power with a good jab. Power cracks Escobar with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Escobar tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Power pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Escobar is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Geordie Power! After the fight, Geordie Power was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
