These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huges throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Marlon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Marlon throws a body punch but Huges moves out of range.
Marlon shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Marlon has managed to clinch.
Marlon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Huges smiles and moves away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Huges looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Marlon tries to pull guard but Huges forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Huges breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Marlon.
Huges appears to be looking for a big counter.

Marlon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Huges walks away with a smile on his face. Marlon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Glazed Kreme seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

I think Edwards might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Damian Marley - Road to Zion. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Edwards throws a quick counter kick to the body but Mann avoids it.
Mann walks into a left hand.
A nice leg kick lands there from Edwards.
Edwards looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Mann misses with an uppercut
and Edwards counters with a thumping low kick.
Edwards takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Mann throws a right hand that misses
and Edwards counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Edwards makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Mann really felt that one!
Mann throws a hook but Edwards avoids it easily.
Mann missing with a left hand there. Edwards was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Edwards drops Mann with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mann looks back up at him and smiles so Edwards waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Mann is rocked!

Edwards fakes the body blow, causing Mann to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Mann goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Gracie gets caught napping as Lester dives in and scores a takedown. Gracie manages to retain guard.

Lester looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Lester got a little sloppy there for a moment and Gracie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lester has managed to get both his arms back between Gracie's legs - danger averted.
Lester stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gracie swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gracie looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lester has picked Gracie up and slammed him! Gracie can't keep hold of the triangle and Lester manages to pass to side control!
Gracie manages to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lester has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Gracie defend it? Lester steps over the head and cranks it - Gracie is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Lester!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Devon Lester!
Devon Lester decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
