The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thing fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Teshanovich sprawls well initially but Thing persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Thing is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Teshanovich is not content to let Thing control the position.
Teshanovich wants to get back to his feet.

Thing is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Teshanovich defends it well.

Willis with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Miller to score with a decent uppercut.
