The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Herrera shoots in and drives through. Borgia sprawls well. Herrera tries to score a power double leg takedown but Borgia sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Herrera somewhat. Borgia with the counter takedown but Herrera avoids it easily. Borgia closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Herrera's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Borgia showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Borgia tries to free his leg and advance position but Herrera is retaining full guard. Borgia really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Herrera. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Borgia loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Borgia controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Herrera manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Borgia is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Herrera's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Herrera's back! Borgia trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Herrera doesn't escape. Herrera is really stuck here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wooston fails with the takedown and Rashad counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Wooston takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Rashad lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Wooston uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Rashad . Rashad throws out a loose jab but Wooston uses good head movement to avoid it. Wooston drops down looking for a counter takedown but Rashad sprawls and moves away. Wooston fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Rashad avoids it really well and circles away. Rashad fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wooston uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rashad . Wooston was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Wooston dives in and scores a takedown into Rashad 's guard. Rashad has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Wooston is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rashad manages to break the clinch.

That's going to take a lot out of him. Wooston shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Wooston doesn't succeed with the takedown and Rashad counters with a lovely shot to the body. Rashad stalks Wooston and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wooston's face. Wooston staggers backwards, shaken. Rashad clobbers Wooston with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Rashad throws a body punch but Wooston moves out of range. Wooston looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Wooston tries for a takedown but Rashad sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Isaish Rashad is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rashad lands a lovely overhand right. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wooston tries to clinch up and Rashad counters with a stiff right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rashad feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Woostons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Rashad jabs Wooston right on the nose. Wooston blinks but takes it well. No luck with that takedown attempt from Wooston. Rashad lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wooston circles away quickly and effectively. Wooston staying out of range there. Wooston fails with a takedown attempt. Rashad throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wooston stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Rashad lands with a hook. Wooston tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Donk. Rashad catches Wooston right on the button with a cross. Wooston gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Rashad counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rashad is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Wooston had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Wooston is defended easily by Rashad . Rashad looks to land a right hand but Wooston moved out of range. Tyler tries to bum rush Santos with a series of wild strikes but Santos uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Santos. Tyler lands a big head kick that sends Santos to the canvas! Tyler follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Wangchuck takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Lancaster, as that shot connected.
Wangchuck closes the distance and clinches up with Lancaster, looking for a takedown. Wangchuck pushes Lancaster against the cage but Lancaster circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lumino lunges at Westcutt with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Westcutt's hand. Lumino ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Lumino gets in close and instigates a clinch. Westcutt blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Jones avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Cabran throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jones appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
