The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brown manages to avoid it.
Brown throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracie.
Decent striking displayed by Brown there.

Brown looks to land a combination but Gracie avoids it well.
Brown scores with a decent looking hook.
Gracie takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Fedor Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Brown will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Gracie bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Brown's head backwards.
Gracie throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Gracie needs to keep his hands up - Brown had a free shot at his head there.
Gracie tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brown was well out of range. Poor timing from Gracie.
Brown throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Gracie is breathing heavily.

Brown with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Brown lands a big head kick that sends Gracie tumbling to the mat! Brown takes a step backwards and waves Gracie back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Gracie is rocked!
Brown drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Gracie's head, knocking him out cold! Brown is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Well Peppers has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
