The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weed moves away from the strike by McCain.
Nice uppercut lands for McCain. That snapped Weed's head back.

Weed closes the distance and clinches.

McCain pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McCain definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Weed misses with a body kick.
Weed tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Weed jabs McCain to the body, keeping him at a distance.

McCain takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Weed throws a shot from downtown. McCain moves away and avoids it.

Weed fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Weed has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
McCain attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
McCain scores with a decent looking hook.
McCain on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Weed. Weed obviously looking to wear him down.

McCain throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Weed on the side of the head.

Weed is rocked!
McCain lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Weed up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs McCain from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Weed's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Tiger crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rizzo - the referee stops the clock and Tiger gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rizzo . Tiger manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

A little feinted left hand from Tiger on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

I would just about give that final round to Frank Rizzo .
Well Tiger has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
