11 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Zilch Filch! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Boris Orlov! The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Arvi Lind and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orlov jabbing away but nothing is landing. Filch keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Orlov. Filch chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Orlov can pounce on him.
Filch takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Orlov throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Filch counters with a nice leg kick. Orlov works Filch's body with a nice hook. Orlov misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Filch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Orlov throws a jab when Filch was well out of range. Filch looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Orlov lands a glancing blow to the side of Filch's head. Orlov throws a hook but Filch blocks it. Orlov thows a left - swing and a miss! Orlov's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Filch connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Orlov scrambles back to his feet. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Filch throws a lazy head kick and Filch takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Orlov throws a leg kick but Filch sees it coming and checks it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Orlov with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Filch to score with a decent uppercut. Filch with a body punch. A glancing blow. A jab from Orlov misses. Filch slips a jab from Orlov. A telegraphed right hand from Orlov misses the target. Filch moves into the clinch. Orlov is trying to break the clinch but Filch has him pressed against the ropes. Filch misses with a short punch on the inside. Filch has Orlov pressed against the ropes, preventing Orlov from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Filch cracks Orlov with a nice body shot. Nice body punch from Filch - that landed with a thud.
Orlov has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Filch with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Orlov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Boris Orlov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Filch blocks a jab. Filch fires out a quick counter leg kick but Orlov just manages to avoid it. The fighters circling - Orlov throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A solid leg kick lands there for Orlov.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Filch moves out of range as Orlov strikes. Orlov has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight. Filch fakes the leg kick and cracks Orlov in the body. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A thudding body kick lands there by Filch!

Orlov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Orlov throws a series of punches but Filch avoids them all with ease. A quick step to the side and Filch tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Filch fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Filch defending well as Orlov loads up on a big left hand. Orlov closes the distance and lands a one-two. This has been an exciting period of action! Orlov throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Filch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Filch blocks a jab. Orlov catches Filch with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Orlov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Orlov misses with a left hand and Filch counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Filch lands a nice shot that snaps Orlov's head back.
Orlov slips under a jab. Boris Orlov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Orlov takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Filch is looking to counter the offense by Orlov and move into the clinch. Orlov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Filch tries to clinch but Orlov moves out of range. Orlov misses with an uppercut. Filch saw that one coming. Boris Orlov seems to be getting the better of the standup. Orlov swats away the attempt to clinch by Filch. Orlov throws the left hand but Filch avoids the punch easily. Orlov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. That was a close second round but I would say that Zilch Filch will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Orlov's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Orlov wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Filch has him pressed against the ropes. Filch circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Orlov tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Filch wins by KO!

Queen lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Queen swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Queen lands with a thumping leg kick.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! David closes the distance and lands a one-two. David tries a head kick but it misses.
Tektas drops down looking to force a counter takedown but David defends it well. Nice shot lands for Tektas. David misses with a looping right. David tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tektas was well out of range. Poor timing from David. Tektas is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Tektas has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. David walks into a jab. David looks to score with a jab to the body but Tektas is just out of range. And Tektas tries to counter it with a takedown but David pushes his down on his head and steps out. Tektas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from David.
David takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. David distracts Tektas with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. David has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Vattalles shoots in looking for a takedown but Epicity manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Vattalles's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Epicity appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body. A solid leg kick lands there for Epicity.
Vattalles throws a nice looking combination but Epicity bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Vattalles tries to close the distance and clinch but Epicity swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Vattalles throws a leg kick and Vattalles takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Epicity throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Vattalles drives through with a takedown into Epicity's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Vattalles wants to control from the top but Epicity keeps moving. Epicity uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vattalles. Vattalles darts in looking for a takedown but Epicity gets double underhooks and turns Vattalles into the ropes. Epicity throws a quick counter kick to the body but Vattalles avoids it.

A low kick from Epicity lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vattalles has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vattalles and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Vattalles shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Epicity but Epicity pushes him off and we're back to square one. Epicity keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Epicity looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger. Epicity pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Vattalles tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Epicity is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Epicity connects with a leg kick. Vattalles looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Epicity keeps the fight on the outside. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kordic sees it coming and avoids it easily. Wright throws a nice looking combination but Kordic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Wright slips under a jab from Kordic. Wright cracks Kordic with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Wright lands a leg kick that knocks Kordic off balance momentarily. Wright fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kordic on the side of the head.

Wright lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Kordic will be OK.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boston fails to land with a series of punches.
A nice side step and Zuma releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Zuma throws a head kick that misses. Boston cracks Zuma with an uppercut from hell and Zuma crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Boston's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
It looks like Monte Zuma has been cut. Boston throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Zuma wants to stand up but Boston is controlling him. Boston trying to control the position from guard on top but Zuma is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Boston working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
