Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Padraig Pearse! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 1, fighting out of London, Ethan Wright! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pearse scores with a takedown into Wright's guard. We've been hearing good reports from Pearse's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Wright looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pearse is one step ahead there. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Wright holds on and takes a little breather. Wright is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Pearse trying to control the position from guard on top but Wright is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wright is pulling down on Pearse's head. It's preventing any offense from Pearse, at least for the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pearse pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wright is keeping the position for now. Wright looking for a sweep. Not yet Wright, not yet. Pearse really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pearse wants to control from the top but Wright keeps moving. Wright has a closed guard, preventing Pearse from standing up. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Pearse pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Wright is keeping the position for now. Pearse will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Pearse advances to half guard. Wright wants to get back to full guard but Pearse has passed into side control. Wright stops Pearse from passing to mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Wright lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Wright drops an elbow to the side of Pearse's head. Wright is thwarting Pearse's attempts to control the position. Wright lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Wright missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wright throwing shots but Pearse is blocking nicely. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pearse is trying to maintain the position but Wright is very close to passing his half guard. Pearse is looking for a sweep. Wright is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. That was a close round but I would say that Padraig Pearse will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Wright keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Pearse fails in his attempt to clinch. Wright shoots and misses and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Wright decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Pearse is looking to get back to is feet but Wright passes into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wright changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pearse looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Pearse parries the strikes from Wright easily there. Wright is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Pearse to escape.

Wright closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Wright takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scrapper has closed the distance and engaged Glass in a clinch.
Glass drops down looking for an ankle pick but Scrapper pulls his leg out and moves away.
Glass fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Scrapper avoids it really well and circles away. Scrapper misses with a looping left. Glass tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Scrapper was well out of range. Poor timing from Glass. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Scrapper! But no joy. Scrapper stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Scrapper wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hugh Glass. That's going to take a lot out of him. Scrapper rushes Glass and presses him up against the cage. Glass tries to land knees in the clinch but Scrapper avoids the damage to the body. Scrapper is trying to break free. Glass wants to break free but Scrapper has control.

Glass goes for a takedown attempt but Scrapper pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Glass shoots for a double leg takedown but Scrapper sprawls well. He's pushed Glass's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Scrapper tries to counter by closing the distance. A looping hook to the body misses from Glass. Scrapper does a little dance to reset his feet. Glass will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Glass gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Scrapper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Scrapper feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Glass sprawling to the canvas! Glass rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Scrapper finish him?!

Glass tries to clinch but Scrapper is having none of it. Scrapper throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Scrapper is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Glass is looking to slow Scrapper down with leg kicks. Scrapper tries to land a front kick but Glass steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Glass looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Glass fails to land the takedown. Glass is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Scrapper moves into the clinch. Scrapper tries to circle away but Glass has him pinned against the cage. Scrapper is trying to pull guard but Glass turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Scrapper has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Glass escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

He's got his arms around Scrapper's waist but Scrapper gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Glass off to one side. Glass pushes Scrapper up against the cage in a clinch. Glass tries to work over Scrapper's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Glass tries to break free but Scrapper pushes him back against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Collins sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jan somewhat. Collins slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Collins swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Collins lands with an uppercut that bounces Jan off the cage and back into range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jan gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Jan is rocked! Michael Collins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jan glances at the clock... BAM! Collins nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Jan crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Jan is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, David Gramm! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ali instigates a clinch. Gramm is looking for a takedown. Gramm tries to land knees in the clinch but Ali avoids the damage to the body. Gramm drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ali pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ali has taken the fight to the clinch.
Ali stalls. Gramm has hold of one of Ali's legs. Ali is fighting the takedown attempt but Gramm gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Gramm trying to control but Ali is working from the bottom. Ali working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gramm doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gramm manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ali is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gramm drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ali manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gramm has Ali in his guard. Ali showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Gramm controls Ali momentarily but Ali frees himself. Ali passes Gramm's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Ali trying to control the pace. Ali tries to stand and escape but Gramm is controlling the position. Ali working over Gramm with some ground and pound. Gramm looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ali keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Ali prevents Gramm from standing back up.
Gramm is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ali pulls his head out easily. Gramm is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Gramm is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ali scores with a couple of nice shots. Ali not doing much here.
Ali is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ali performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Ali missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Gramm has a takedown stuffed. Chris Ali has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Gramm. Gramm shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gramm showed some decent athleticism there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gramm seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ali does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Two misses. Two could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Two throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pablo cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like One Two has been cut. Two throws a sloppy body shot
and Pablo counters with a right hand that sends Two tumbling to the canvas! Can Pablo finish him? He dives into Two's guard looking to do just that! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pablo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pablo throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Pablo pushes down on Two's leg and manages to get into half guard. Pablo missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Pablo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Two makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Two looks to land a combination but Pablo avoids it well. Pablo has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Two throws a big shot that misses. Two misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Pablo lands a big right hook! Two looks hurt but is still standing! Pablo lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Two falls down and Pablo dives in with a huge hammer fist! Two's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Pablo runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
