Regueiro struggling a bit here.
Regueiro is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Askren is staying active.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Askren trying to control the position but Regueiro is working away.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
The crowd cheers as Regueiro lands an impressive looking overhand right. Askren doesn't seem phased though.

and Askren counters with a nice double leg into side control. Regueiro won't be happy with that.

Askren cracks Regueiro with an elbow. That is naaassty.
You can see the frustration on Regueiro's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Regueiro takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Askren looks up at the clock and then as Regueiro takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Askren smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
