The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Payne looks to land a combination but Castle avoids it well. Payne wants to clinch. A right-left combo lands from Payne. Castle checks a leg kick. Castle throws a left and a right that both miss
and Payne counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Payne slips a nice elbow through Castle's hands, connecting with Castle's forehead. Payne blocks the strikes from Castle.

He's simply no match for Castle on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Payne tries to free his leg and advance position but Castle is retaining full guard. Payne wants to control from the top but Castle keeps moving.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Castle lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Payne circles away quickly and effectively. Payne closes the distance and clinches. Castle drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Payne is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Castle is controlling him. Castle works over Payne with some ground and pound from guard. Castle chips away with some ground and pound. Payne decides to pull guard. Castle is looking to work some ground and pound but Payne has wrist control. Castle trying to control the position from guard on top but Payne is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Castle stops Payne from standing up. Payne trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Castle loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Castle trying to control but Payne is working from the bottom. That was a close second round but I would say that Max Payne will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Max Castle's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Payne rolls with it to try and escape but Castle cranks on the arm and Payne is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ti lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Ti avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ti fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Wright throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Wright swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wright on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Wright takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Wright looks gassed! Ti throws a shot to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ti, as that shot connected.

Ti lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Ti moves into range and connects with a jab. Wright is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ti closes the distance and clinches. Ti lands an elbow that stopped Wright in his tracks for a moment. Ti lands a left hand that snaps the head of Wright backwards. Ti lands an elbow inside that Wright shrugs off. Ti presses Wright against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Ti really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Ti gets through Wright's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Still in the clinch, Ti scores with a nice short uppercut. Wright tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ti keeps control of Wright as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Ti presses Wright against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Ti landing knees to the body.
Ti comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Ti lands an elbow that stopped Wright in his tracks for a moment.

Wright is still on wobbly legs! Can Ti finish him? Ti lands a right hand that snaps the head of Wright backwards. Ti slowing the pace effectively. Ti crunches a lovely knee into Wright's ribcage. Ti makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ti takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Ti scores with a nice hook to the head. Ti throws a big uppercut that drops Wright! More strikes from Ti and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Wright lies dazed against the cage as Ti celebrates with his cornermen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Khalifa dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Couture misses with a body kick. Couture shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Khalifa is desperately trying to improve his position but Couture has a good base and remains in mount. Khalifa gets back to half guard. Khalifa wants to control the action here but instead Couture manages to pass to full mount! Khalifa is trying to escape the mount.
Poor strikes thrown by Couture there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

The referee sends both fighters to their corners and James has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from James and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Velez tries for a takedown but James circles away easily and James counters with a takedown into side control. James in side control, just content to control the action for now. I looks like James might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Velez is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. James is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

James is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. James moves into full mount! Velez won't be happy about that! Matt James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

After a battle for position, James asserts his dominance and retains side control. Velez wants to get back to his feet but James is dominant here and he's now got Velez's back! Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Velez is trying to get back to his feet but James has full control of the position and if anything, Velez has just worked his way into a worse spot. James really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Velez.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that's the end of the fight! Matt James comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got James winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kumiko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Stortz remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Stortz landing strikes. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pablo throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Pablo wants to clinch up but Malurky keeps it at a distance. Pablo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Pablo on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Pablo drives through and clinches with Malurky against the cage.
Malurky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Malurky displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Pablo. Malurky avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Malurky looking to control and managing it successfully. Malurky looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Pablo slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Malurky is looking to stall here but Pablo recovers full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pablo is pulling down on Malurky's head to control his posture. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pablo is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Malurky's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Malurky trying to advance position but Pablo counters by regaining guard. Malurky postures up.
