The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chong misses with a series of wild punches.
No joy there for Katti, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ask is tying to control. Nogueira wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Ask bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Nogueira can't keep his opponent in guard - Ask advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
It looks like Ask is going to stand back up.
Ask is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Ask is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Ask passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Nogueira!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ask content just to control the position here.
Nogueira is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Ask goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Nogueira is on top in guard.
Nogueira pushes down on Ask's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ask has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nogueira is working away from the top position though.

Stian Ask comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ask has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

and Braddock counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Lucky Wasabi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Braddock throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wasabi on the side of the head.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Shagowitcz drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Flores dives on top into guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Flores stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Shagowitcz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Shagowitcz had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Flores is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Shagowitcz Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Flores's back instead.
Shagowitcz keeps control of the position as Flores tries to break free.
Flores really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shagowitcz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Shagowitcz is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Flores has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
