2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacob Menard! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Menard darts in trying to clinch and Roy counters with a nice double leg into guard. Roy is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Menard keeping full guard, as Roy tries to pass. Menard really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roy. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Roy sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Menard's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roy performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Roy seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Menard for as long as he can get away with.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roy working Menard over with strikes. Menard tries to roll over but Roy keeps him under control. Roy is looking to advance position but Menard won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Roy keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Roy throwing shots but Menard is blocking nicely. Menard is looking to improve his position.
Roy wants to stand up but Menard is controlling the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Roy moves out of range as Menard strikes. Roy tries to counter by clinching up but Menard breaks away and moves out of range. Jacob Menard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Roy swats away the attempt to clinch by Menard. Roy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matthew Roy dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Matthew Roy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Roy's corner is telling him to maintain position. Roy continues to stall. Menard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roy prevents Menard from getting back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roy lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Roy is looking to stand up but Menard won't let him. Roy tries to free his leg and advance position but Menard is retaining full guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Menard swinging wildly here.
The fight stays on the outside here - Menard looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Roy drives through with a takedown into guard. Roy is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Menard wants to get back to his feet but Roy is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Roy seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matthew Roy dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Roy is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Menard can do to turn this around? No luck for Roy with that takedown attempt. Menard doesn't manage to clinch there - Roy circles away.
Roy appears to be looking for a big counter. We've been informed that Menard has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Roy gets a double leg takedown into Menard's guard. Roy is pushing down on Menard's leg trying to pass to half guard. Menard is fighting to maintain full guard but Roy has managed to sneak the leg through. Roy is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Roy looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Roy tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jacob Menard has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Roy is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Roy lands with a punch from half guard. Menard tries to kick Roy off but Roy keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Roy working over Menard with some ground and pound. Menard looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Menard blocking the ground and pound attempt from Roy. Roy slows the pace down in half guard. Matthew Roy is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. More hug and hope from Roy. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Menard can do anything to dispel that myth. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Menard tries to clinch but Roy is having none of it. Menard throws a wild body kick that Roy sees coming a mile off.
And that's the end of the fight! Matthew Roy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Roy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
It looks like Un Real has been cut. Bear scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Bear moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Real cracks Bear with a good jab. Nice uppercut there from Bear.
That has opened up Un Real's cut even more. Real gets caught flat footed, as Bear shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Real wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Bear manages to pass to side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Still in half guard, Bear seems content to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bear stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Real to get to his feet. Real slips under a jab. Real looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Bear connects with a body shot. Bear fails with a takedown attempt. Un Real is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bear lands a right hook to the body.
Real looks winded! Bear Throws a clean left jab. Bear Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Real's chin! Real crumbles to the ground and Bear follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Bear!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Teddy Bear! Teddy Bear decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Fothergill kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Austrian Death Machine - Get To The Choppa. Colin Bollocks told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

It looks like Colin Bollocks has been cut. Bollocks looks to land a right hand but Fothergill moved out of range. Fothergill connects with a looping right hand.
Fothergill throws out a powerful jab. Fothergill lands a head kick. Bollocks smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Fothergill moves into the clinch successfully.

Bollocks has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Bollocks throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Fothergill connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Bollocks's hands. This has been an exciting period of action! Fothergill catches Bollocks with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Bollocks thows a left - swing and a miss! Fothergill cracks Bollocks with a good jab. Fothergill and Bollocks are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Fothergill throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Bollocks into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Fothergill knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Jimmy Fothergill! In his post fight interview, Jimmy Fothergill gave a big smile as he said 'Colin Bollocks? More like Colin Bollockless! You better bring a bomb shelter if you're going to take on the Fotherbomb! Al sithee!'.

A close round but Dub Kong will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Kong tries to clinch but Simpson moves away and Simpson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kong cracks a nice hook into Simpson's ribs. Kong uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Simpson.

Simpson does a little dance to reset his feet. Simpson swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Kong moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Kong avoids the body shot from Simpson.

Kong throws a jab when Simpson was well out of range. Simpson is looking to counter punch. Kong throws a left and a right that both miss
and Simpson counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Simpson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Simpson keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kong tries to close the distance and clinch up but Simpson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Kong walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Simpson takes one to the side of the head.
Simpson sends Kong crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Simpson is motioning to the referee to let Kong up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Kong is rocked! Simpson keeps the fight on the outside. Simpson throwing a counter right hand but Kong manages to avoid it. Kong is still on wobbly legs! Can Simpson finish him? The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Simpson jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Kong misses the shot to the body. Kong throws a right and a left that both miss. Kong just misses with a punch to the body.

enabling Simpson to counter with a crisp jab. Simpson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kong can do to turn this around? Kong tries to bum rush Simpson with a series of wild strikes but Simpson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kong tries to clinch but Simpson moves away and Simpson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Kong has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Kong scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Kong misses with a body punch
and Kong takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Simpson cracks Kong with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Simpson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kong to stand back up!
Kong is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kong rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Simpson counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
