0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zombie Houston! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Forealius throws a body shot but no joy. Houston tries to close the distance and clinch up but Forealius swats him away and circles back towards the center. Houston takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Forealius tries to keep at a distance but Houston has taken the fight into the clinch. Forealius can't break the clinch.
Houston pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Houston staying out of range there. Forealius shoots in and drives through. Houston sprawls well. Houston is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Houston tries to clinch but Forealius is having none of it. Nice defenses there by Houston. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Forealius misses with a hook. Houston ducked under it nicely. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Houston! But no joy. Houston tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Zombie Houston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Houston is looking to clinch but Forealius is avoiding it.

Houston throws a series of punches but Forealius avoids them all with ease.
That's one minute gone in the round. Houston swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Forealius half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Houston looks for the body kick but Forealius saw that one coming. Forealius drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Forealius is chipping away with strikes.
Houston stops Forealius from passing to mount. Forealius working the ground and pound from side control. Forealius landing strikes. Forealius working the ground and pound.
Houston is rocked! A big shot lands for Forealius! That's hurt Houston! Will he recover? Forealius fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adam Hatton! The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hatton is trying hard to land a takedown here. Testerton sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Hatton has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Testerton. KG Testerton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hatton looking to score a takedown here. Testerton is defending well but Hatton drives through and ends up in Testerton's guard. Hatton trying to control but Testerton is working from the bottom. Hatton stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Testerton swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hatton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Testerton. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Testerton bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hatton's guard. Testerton trying to control the position from guard on top but Hatton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hatton had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Testerton defends it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hatton throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's one minute gone in the round. Testerton takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Hatton is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Testerton jumps into side control! Testerton scores with a couple of short elbows. Testerton wants to control but Hatton is keeping him busy. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hatton can do anything to dispel that myth. Hatton is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Testerton's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Hatton is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Testerton scoring with strikes to the body and head.

Hatton is looking to get to half guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Testerton looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Hatton wants to hold on but Testerton pushes him away. Testerton landing shots from mount. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hatton is wriggling around trying to escape.
Testerton lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hatton hang on?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hatton tries to reverse the position but Testerton maintains control. Testerton has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Testerton cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Testerton lands with some strikes. Hatton tries to lock up and control but Testerton gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hatton takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Testerton unloading with bombs! Testerton lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Testerton is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hatton can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Testerton raining down shots from the mount! Hatton really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Testerton scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Hatton?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hatton taking shots to the head. Testerton avoids the attempt from Hatton to control. Testerton unloading with bombs! Hatton looks winded! Testerton lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hatton is rocked! Testerton cracks Hatton with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Hatton is still in real trouble! Can Testerton finish him? Testerton postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Hatton in real trouble here! The ref calls for Hatton to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Lima lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Black dives in for a single leg takedown but De Lima sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. De Lima's corner calls for a 1-2. De Lima obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. De Lima throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Black. De Lima looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Black is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Black closes this distance looking for a takedown but De Lima circles away. De Lima lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by De Lima. Black fails with a takedown attempt. Rodrigo De Lima has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Black. Black takes a shot to the body in his stride.
De Lima lands with an uppercut that bounces Black off the cage and back into range. Black doesn't succeed with the takedown and De Lima counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice takedown defense from De Lima. No joy for Black on that attempt. De Lima connects with a single shot there. A left and a right from De Lima both land. Nice combination. Black is on the wrong end of a nice combination from De Lima. De Lima moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. De Lima throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Lima scores with a three punch combo!
De Lima checks a low kick from Black. De Lima misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
De Lima lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Black feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Black is sitting in close to De Lima's body. De Lima has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Black is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Black is tapping! That was a very nice submission by De Lima.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yoshi moves out of range of the strikes. Yoshi closes the distance but Holey moves to the side and Holey decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Yoshi's guard. Yoshi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Holey defends it easily. Holey tries to free his leg and advance position but Yoshi is retaining full guard. Yoshi controls Holey momentarily but Holey frees himself. Yoshi has his hands on Holey's head, controlling the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Holey postures up and lands a big shot to Yoshi's brow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holey trying to stand up but can't free himself from Yoshi's guard. Holey is looking to work some ground and pound but Yoshi has wrist control. Holey wants to stand but Yoshi is controlling his posture from full guard. Holey sitting in guard, not really doing much. Yoshi looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Holey has taken the fight to the clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Yoshi is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Holey gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Holey has Yoshi pressed against the cage.
Holey manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Holey receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Yoshi fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Yoshi jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Holey walks away with a smile on his face. Yoshi gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leonardo Yoshi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yoshi fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Holey feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Yoshi uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Yoshi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Holey closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Holey wants to control but Yoshi is keeping him busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yoshi holds on to Holey's head and controls the position momentarily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yoshi is trying to work for a sweep but Holey has mounted him! Holey controlling the position easily from mount. Yoshi is trying to control the position here but Holey swings around for an armbar and he's got it! This one is all over, courtesy of a slick submission by Holey!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matrovsky looks to throw the jab but Boyka is out of range. Boyka scores with a decent looking hook. Boyka takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Boyka avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Boyka connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Matrovsky momentarily.
Boyka throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Matrovsky walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Matrovsky misses with an uppercut. Boyka lunges at Matrovsky with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Matrovsky's hand. Kalis Matrovsky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A combination from Boyka does no damage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Boyka shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Matrovsky tries to bum rush Boyka with a series of wild strikes but Boyka uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Matrovsky throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Boyka sees it coming and avoids it easily. Boyka plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Boyka throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sloppy strikes from Matrovsky. Those never looked like landing. Boyka scores with a jab to the head.

Boyka lands a big head kick that sends Matrovsky tumbling to the mat! Boyka takes a step backwards and waves Matrovsky back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Matrovsky is rocked! Boyka throws a series of punches but Matrovsky moves out of range. Oh Matrovsky is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Matrovsky waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Boyka. BOOM! Boyka lands a beautiful left hook that drops Matrovsky. Matrovsky tries to recover but Boyka is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Matrovsky lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yuri Boyka! Yuri Boyka is the new heavyweight champion! Yuri Boyka was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
