The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duran stalks Lesier and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Lesier's face. Lesier staggers backwards, shaken.
Lesier could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Lesier closes the distance and clinches.

Lesier breaks from the clinch.
Lesier throws a low kick but Duran moves out of range easily.
Duran looks to land a combination. Lesier sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Lesier tries to clinch up but Duran circles away and keeps his distance.
Lesier slips a jab and a cross from Duran.
Lesier tries to bum rush Duran with a series of wild strikes but Duran uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lesier takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Duran lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lesier circles away quickly and effectively.
Lesier moves into range and connects with a jab.
Lesier looks to throw the jab but Duran is out of range.
As Lesier backs off Duran throws a huge counter combo but Lesier manages to avoid it all.
Lesier throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lesier throws a hook to the side of Duran's head but Duran sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lesier wants to clinch.
Lesier doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Lesier throws out a loose jab but Duran uses good head movement to avoid it.
Adam Lesier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Duran does no damage.

Duran darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Lesier is looking to escape.
Lesier is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Duran not doing much here.

Lesier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Duran tries to avoid it but Lesier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Duran to the ground. Duran escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Lesier tries to clinch up but Duran circles away and keeps his distance.
A clash of legs there as Duran blocks the low kick.
Duran dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Duran lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lesier circles away quickly and effectively.

Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Duran!
Duran lands a body shot.
Lesier is breathing heavily.
Duran tries to bum rush Lesier with a series of wild strikes but Lesier uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Duran scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Lesier doesn't seem bothered though.
Duran pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Lesier back to the cage. Duran follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Lesier throws a big shot that misses.
Duran lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Lesier is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Duran plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Lesier to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Lesier just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Araujo feints and as Levy raises his hands in defense, Araujo changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Araujo drops back looking for a leg! Levy is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Levy manages to kick Araujo off! Araujo jumps back into Levy's guard.
Araujo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Levy working for a triangle but Araujo defends it easily.
Araujo wants to pass the guard but Levy is keeping the position.

Levy manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Levy is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Araujo remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Blake has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Khan shoots in for a takedown but Win shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Win cracks Khan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Khan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Win sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Khan somewhat.

Tanaka gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Tanaka tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Krule is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Tanaka buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Tanaka!! Tanaka is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Krule throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
