Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Albert Wesker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Heimdall Aegir! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aegir shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Aegir wants to free his trapped foot but Wesker is holding on for dear life with his legs. Aegir wants to work for an arm triangle but Wesker is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Aegir is looking to advance position but Wesker won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aegir is looking for a kimura but Wesker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Aegir to get the leverage. Wesker is looking for a sweep. Aegir is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Wesker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wesker throws a body kick that misses. Wesker throws a solid leg kick but Aegir takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wesker. Aegir shoots for a takedown but Wesker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Wesker. Aegir does a little dance to reset his feet. Wesker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Albert Wesker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Heimdall Aegir. Wesker swings for the body but Aegir moves out of range.

Aegir wants to sweep here but Wesker controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wesker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Wesker throws a looping overhand right but Aegir ducks down to avoid it. The fighters circling - Wesker throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Wesker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aegir moves away. Aegir tries to bum rush Wesker with a series of wild strikes but Wesker uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Aegir dodges the punch combination from Wesker.
Wesker dips down and scores with a jab to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Albert Wesker will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Wesker fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Aegir is out of range. Aegir slips a straight right by Wesker. Wesker throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Aegir throws a series of punches but Wesker moves out of range. Wesker waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Aegir. Aegir bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Aegir wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wesker, who protects the arm well. Aegir is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Wesker is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Aegir working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aegir is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wesker is looking to reverse the position. Wesker can't do much from the bottom here. Aegir goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Wesker rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Aegir's guard! Nice work there by Wesker! Weskeris looking to pass into half guard but Aegir pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Aegir is in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Aegir trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wesker can't keep his opponent in guard - Aegir advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Aegir wants to pass to mount but Wesker is defending the position. Aegir is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Aegir is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aegir trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Wesker wants to stand but Aegir is controlling the position. Aegir trying to move into half guard but instead Wesker has managed to sweep! Aegir looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Wesker gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Wesker is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Heimdall Aegir showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Wesker's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Wesker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Aegir was well out of range. Poor timing from Wesker. Aegir fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Wesker is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Aegir. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wesker throws a jab but it's blocked by Aegir. Albert Wesker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for Wesker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Aegir forces his way into half guard. Aegir is pressing down on Wesker's thigh, looking to free his foot. Wesker is holding on for now. Aegir works his foot free and advances to mount. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wesker trying to control but Aegir is having none of it. Aegir working to try and regain half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Stevens. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Stevens throws a looping overhand right but Gracie ducks down to avoid it. Gracie misses with a straight right. Gracie avoids the body shot from Stevens.

Stevens tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Gracie is able to avoid easily. Stevens misses with a series of wild punches.
Gracie changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Stevens looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Gracie swings around for an armbar but Stevens sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracie's guard. Gracie looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Gracie is trying to control the position but Stevens postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Stevens's guard. Gracie trying to control but Stevens is working from the bottom. Gracie wants to pass the guard but Stevens is keeping the position. Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stevens is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard. Gracie looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stevens is one step ahead there.

Gracie is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Gracie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stevens manages to get himself to full guard.
Gracie drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stevens looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stevens looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stevens!

Stevens sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Gracie is working for a kimura here but Stevens manages to reverse the position and he's now in Gracie's guard.
Gracie keeping moving, preventing Stevens from controlling successfully. Dean Stevens is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gracie pulls Stevens in to control the position. Stevens slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

It looks like Bobby Lashley has been cut. Hardy is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Lashley's shoulder. That is not cool. Oh Lashley is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Lashley is trying to get back to his feet. The referee asks Hardy politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Hardy prefers to stall for the moment though. Lashley seems to have got his legs back now. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Lashley. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hardy keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Marker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Donk. Marker catches Concrete right on the button with a cross. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Concrete is defended easily by Marker. Josh Marker is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

A lazy left from Turk finds it's target. Jones throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Turk sees it coming and avoids it easily. Turk throws a front kick that sends Jones stumbling back into the cage. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! The crowd cheers as Turk lands an impressive looking overhand right. Jones doesn't seem phased though. Jones swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Turk to counter with a crisp jab. A shot to the liver by Turk. Beautiful body shot. Turk scores with a jab to the jaw.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Turk was well out of range. Poor timing from Jones. Turk closes the distance and clinches. Jones misses with a hook from the clinch. Jones is looking to break free of the clinch but Turk has double underhooks. Turk escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Turk ducks under a wild hook from Jones. Jones uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Turk. Turk does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Turk takes one on the button. Jones loads up on a big right hand but Turk slips the punch. Jones looks to land a right hand but Turk moved out of range. Turk steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jones. The fighters circling - Turk throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Turk counters with a two punch combo. Jones takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
