Malikov fails to land the takedown.
Malikov moves out of range of the body kick.
Malikov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Goodridge can pounce on him.
Malikov shoots for a double leg takedown but Goodridge sprawls well. He's pushed Malikov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Goodridge tries to counter with a takedown but Malikov is quick to defend against it.

Malikov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Goodridge's guard.
Malikov is in close to Goodridge's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Goodridge is looking to cinch up a triangle. Malikov throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Goodridge's body to avoid the submission. Goodridge has instead reached around Malikov's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Goodridge arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Sanchez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dobbs's guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones dives in and grabs Cupido's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cupido pushes down on Jones's head and hops out.

Jones forces Cupido back against the cage and clinches.
Cupido tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Jones's elbow.

Jones manages to break the clinch.

Cupido gets tackled into the cage by Jones. Jones maintains the clinch.

Jones's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Cupido throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jones doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

and Jones counters with a series of strikes that really hurt Cupido! The ref looks into his eyes and sees nobody home - he's called the fight! This one is all over!

Daniel Jones opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

Taylor moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Gracie looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
A nice inside leg kick there by Taylor. That's going to slow Gracie down.
That kick from Taylor tenderised Gracie's leg. Gracie is trying to keep his angry face on.
We've been told by Gracie's head coaches at Brotherhood MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
A low kick from Taylor is predictable there

so Gracie counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Taylor is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Gracie jumps guard but Taylor stands there with Gracie around his waist. Gracie gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

and Gracie counters with a single leg into guard. Taylor didn't expect that.

Taylor is looking to stand back up but Gracie counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Taylor.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Taylor wants to get back to his feet.

Gracie thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Taylor can do anything to dispel that myth.

Taylor really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gracie. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Taylor tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Gracie manages to move to mount!

Gracie is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Taylor has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Taylor tries to buck Gracie off so he can stand up but Gracie has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Taylor falls backwards, slamming Gracie to the mat but Gracie holds on tight! Taylor is forced to tap and this one is all over!

Kennedy looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Lowry drops Kennedy with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Kennedy looks back up at him and smiles so Lowry waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Lyndon Kennedy has been cut.
Lowry closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Kennedy! Lowry dives in looking to finish! Kennedy is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Te Tai throws a lazy uppercut
and Williams counters with a series of strikes. Te Tai will be more careful next time no doubt.
Williams definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

A head kick lands from Te Tai that sends Williams to the canvas. Williams tries to scramble back to his feet but Te Tai brings him back down into side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Te Tai has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Williams scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

It looks like Motu Te Tai has been cut.
Te Tai doesn't manage to clinch there - Williams circles away.
Te Tai feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Williams collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

Kano goes for a double leg but MacLaren avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as MacLaren continues to drive forward.
MacLaren now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Kano fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
MacLaren swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from MacLaren is defended easily by Kano.
MacLaren has a takedown stuffed.
MacLaren looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Kano shoots in for a takedown but MacLaren shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Goji Kano. That's going to take a lot out of him.
MacLaren closes the distance and clinches up with Kano, looking for a takedown. MacLaren pushes Kano against the cage but Kano circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

MacLaren drives through and clinches with Kano against the cage.

MacLaren lands a takedown into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kano is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. MacLaren is aware though and is defending well.

Kano is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but MacLaren frees his head nicely. Oh but Kano has switched to an armbar! MacLaren is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
