24 - 9 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Harry Baals! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oenomaus Doctore! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doctore tries to close the distance and clinch up but Baals swats him away and circles back towards the center. Doctore takes a swing at Baals's ribcage but misses. Baals wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Baals decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Baals tries to pass the half guard into mount. Doctore knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Doctore throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

Baals is pressing down on Doctore's thigh, looking to free his foot. Doctore is holding on for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Doctore flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Baals looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baals is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Doctore is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Baals's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Baals's back! Baals really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baals is trapped and Doctore is scoring with shots to the head and body. Doctore lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Doctore is looking to finish with some ground and pound! Baals breaks Doctore's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Doctore controls Baals momentarily but Baals frees himself. Our spies down at at Russian Bears Training Center (14 Elite, 1 Double inform us that Doctore has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Doctore keeping full guard, as Baals tries to pass. Doctore is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Baals advances to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baals is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Baals is keen to just control but Doctore is a slippery customer. Baals uses his free foot to push down on Doctore's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Doctore. Baals looking to control but Doctore is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Doctore wants to hold on but Baals pushes him away. Doctore tries to get back to half guard but can't. Doctore is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Doctore is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Baals controlling from the full mount. Doctore tries to improve his position but instead Baals has taken his back! Doctore is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Baals off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Doctore rolls, trying to escape but Baals keeps control of the position.
Doctore preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Baals. Doctore trying to get back to his feet but Baals is in full control for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Baals controlling well, preventing Doctore from escaping the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harry Baals dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Baals is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Doctore. Doctore scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Doctore tries to clinch but Baals moves out of range. Baals shoots in looking for a takedown but Doctore manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Baals's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Doctore closes the distance and clinches. A battle for position here, against the cage. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Baals will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Doctore up against the cage. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Baals for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baals tries for a takedown. No joy.
Baals is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Doctore is keeping busy. Doctore is looking to break free of the clinch but Baals has double underhooks.

Baals dives in and grabs Doctore's left leg, looking for a takedown. Doctore pushes down on Baals's head and hops out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harry Baals. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baals walks into a straight right hand from Doctore. Baals shoots in for a takedown but Doctore shows good takedown defense. Doctore misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Baals.

Baals goes for a double leg but Doctore avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Doctore continues to drive forward. Doctore tries to clinch up but Baals circles away and keeps his distance. Doctore looks to score with a jab to the body but Baals is just out of range. Doctore gets in close and instigates a clinch. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Baals tries to stall but Doctore uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Doctore has one foot on Baals's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Baals gets tackled into the cage by Doctore. Doctore maintains the clinch. Baals will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Doctore up against the cage.

Maybe Baals would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much. Doctore is trying to push Baals away but Baals has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Baals is trying to maintain a safe position but Doctore gets an underhook and turns Baals into the cage. Doctore pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Oenomaus Doctore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Doctore sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Baals defending well though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Doctore misses with a head shot. Baals uses the momentum to regain guard. Baals working for a triangle but Doctore defends it easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Oenomaus Doctore comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Doctore has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frank throws a right and a left that Christie avoids nicely. Frank feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Christie sprawling to the canvas! Christie rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Frank finish him?!
It looks like William Christie has been cut. Frank lands a big right hand that sends Christie crashing to the mat! Frank stays standing though and waves Christie back to his feet!
Christie is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Frank lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berthier misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Berthier takes a jab right on the kisser.
Nikolov is looking to chop away at Berthier's legs. Berthier is looking to counter the offense by Nikolov and move into the clinch. Berthier fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nikolov avoids it really well and circles away. A slow jab from Nikolov misses its intended target. Berthier moves out of range as Nikolov strikes. Berthier half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Nikolov looks to land a left hand but Berthier moved out of range nicely. Berthier feinted with a counter takedown. Horrible takedown attempt by Berthier or perhaps it was just good defense by Nikolov, which made it look bad.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nikolov connects with the punch. Nikolov lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Berthier is rocked! Nikolov has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Berthier fails to land the takedown. Nikolov jabs Berthier right on the nose. Berthier blinks but takes it well. Oh Berthier is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Nice shot by Nikolov. Nikolov drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Berthier right on the button. Berthier goes down! Nikolov follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Nikolov gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vladimir Nikolov! Our winner, Vladimir Nikolov, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

Butts fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Butts throws a body shot but no joy. Butts shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Butts missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Butts moves nicely into side control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Butts in side control lands a decent elbow. Butts working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Butts has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Quasintisimo!
That's one minute gone in the round. Butts throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Quasintisimo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Butts. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Butts landing strikes from the mount. Butts is in the full mount, landing strikes. Quasintisimo defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Butts. Butts trying to control but Quasintisimo is having none of it. Butts raining down shots from the mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Butts lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Butts has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Butts punishing his opponent with strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Butts dominating with strikes here. Butts lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Butts landing shots from mount. Butts quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Butts but it's paid off an Quasintisimo is forced to tap! Nice work by Butts.

Championship throws a body shot but no joy. De Moncey changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Championship forces De Moncey back against the cage and clinches. Championship manages to break the clinch.
Championship lands a lovely overhand right. Championship misses with the combination.

De Moncey throws a wild hook but Championship just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! De Moncey gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Championship raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ovchinnikov misses with a straight left. McGuire swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Ovchinnikov feints a jab promting McGuire to slip. Ovchinnikov then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McGuire slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like James McGuire has been cut. McGuire is looking to clinch but Ovchinnikov is avoiding it.

Ovchinnikov swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Ovchinnikov takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Ovchinnikov has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as McGuire is landing a low percentage of strikes. A big right from Ovchinnikov misses. McGuire thinks about countering with a body kick. Ovchinnikov throws a poor cross that misses

McGuire thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Ovchinnikov to his feet! Ovchinnikov is in big trouble! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ovchinnikov works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. McGuire tries to clinch and McGuire takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. McGuire looks to score with a jab to the body but Ovchinnikov is just out of range. McGuire tries to close the distance and clinch but Ovchinnikov swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. McGuire ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. McGuire moves in looking to clinch but Ovchinnikov pushes him off. Ovchinnikov throws out a counter right but McGuire avoids it with no problem. Ovchinnikov throws a hook but McGuire blocks it. Ovchinnikov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Ovchinnikov throws a lazy right hand but McGuire sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Ovchinnikov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
