The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from King misses the target.

and Marko counters with a series of strikes. King will be more careful next time no doubt.

King uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Phil fails in his attempt to clinch.
Osman was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Phil avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Phil misses with a takedown attempt - Osman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A little feinted left hand from Osman on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
We've been hearing reports that Osman has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Kill Phil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Osman throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Phil.
