1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Iivo Guldpucken! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guldpucken closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Scott did well to prevent Guldpucken getting side control. Guldpucken throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Guldpucken is looking to take a break and control but Scott is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Guldpucken seems to be looking for submissions.
Guldpucken not landing any meaningful shots this time. Guldpucken stops Scott from getting back to his feet.
Guldpucken throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Scott is trying to stand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Scott on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Guldpucken is looking to take a break and control but Scott is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
 The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Danga de danga de dang - Scott scores with a four punch combination! Guldpucken seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Scott shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Guldpucken is backing up but Scott catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Guldpucken covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Scott Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sylva keeps the fight on the outside. Bernaldo misses with a body kick. Sylva blocks the body kick.
Bernaldo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sylva as he jumps to the side. Bernaldo ducks under a wild hook from Sylva. Sylva throws a good cross that connects.
Nice uppercut there from Sylva.
Bernaldo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Bernaldo with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Bernaldo throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Bernaldo looking for a guillotine from mount but Sylva is having none of it. Sylva is squirming around, avoiding Bernaldo's attempts to control the action. Sylva wants to get back to his feet.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sylva is trying to stand. Bernaldo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Bernaldo working for a guillotine from mount but Sylva is in no mood to give up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bernaldo is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Sylva scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Scott Sylva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bernaldo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sylva sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bernaldo somewhat. A big right from Sylva misses.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sylva swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Bernaldo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sylva's waist but Sylva gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bernaldo off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Luiz Bernaldo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bernaldo tries to move into range but Sylva moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Bernaldo takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Bernaldo moves forwards but Sylva connects with a nice, crisp jab. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Bernaldo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sylva sprawls well. Sylva wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Bernaldo gets slowly back to his feet. Sylva throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Bernaldo on the side of the head. Sylva misses with a double jab.
Bernaldo ducks under a wild hook from Sylva. Sylva lunges at Bernaldo with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bernaldo's hand. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Scott Sylva dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Bernaldo. Sylva drops Bernaldo with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Bernaldo! Sylva dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Peter Paul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Hodges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Paul's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, DMX. Peter Paul had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Paul shoots in looking for a takedown. Hodges tries to sprawl out of it but Paul keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hodges manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Hodges with a jab. Paul avoids the head kick by Hodges.
Hodges throws a wild body kick that Paul sees coming a mile off. Peter Paul seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hodges cracks the inside of Paul's front leg. Hodges leaves Paul with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. An inside leg kick lands from Hodges. Paul shoots in for a double leg but Hodges sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Paul. That's going to take a lot out of him. Paul is breathing heavily. Hodges throws a nice head kick!
 It looks like Peter Paul has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A chopping leg kick lands by Hodges. Hodges feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Paul's calf.
Hodges lands a big head kick that sends Paul tumbling to the mat! Hodges takes a step backwards and waves Paul back to his feet - he wants the finish!
 Paul is rocked! Nice body kick from Hodges. Oh Paul is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Hodges lands a big head kick that sends Paul to the canvas! Hodges follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

Machine throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Machine misses with a few strikes there.
Machine is looking to clinch. Machine shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Madness Machine. That's going to take a lot out of him. Machine lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Machine will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. No joy there for Torres, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Torres cracks Machine with an uppercut from hell and Machine crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Torres's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
 It looks like Madness Machine has been cut. Machine on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Machine tries to get out of the position.
Torres thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Torres gets to his feet - Machine follows without any prompting. Machine takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Torres misses with a jab, cross combination.

Machine doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Torres fails to land with a series of punches.

Torres is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Machine rather than just go for the knockout. A looping hook to the body misses from Torres. Machine does a little dance to reset his feet. Machine tries to clinch but Torres moves out of range. Machine tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Torres paws at him with a jab and circles away. Torres misses with a wild combination.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Machine. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Machine tries to clinch but Torres moves out of range.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Machine takes one on the button. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Machine fails in his attempt to clinch. Torres misses with an uppercut. Machine saw that one coming. Machine is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Torres thuds a left hand into Machine's body. Torres tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Machine was well out of range. Poor timing from Torres. Torres wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Nice uppercut lands for Torres. That snapped Machine's head back.
Machine walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Torres throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Machine colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Torres as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Machine is left battered and dazed whilst Torres and his camp cheer!

Potter is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Potter moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Potter tests Adams's chin there with a solid looking shot. Adams closes this distance looking for a takedown but Potter circles away. Potter getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Potter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Potter connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Adams's hands. Potter lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hickson is looking to clinch but Tuna is avoiding it.
Tuna fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Hickson pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Hickson tries to clinch up but Tuna circles away and keeps his distance. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tuna. Hickson throws the kick towards the body but Tuna avoids it.
Tuna scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Tuna moves nicely into side control. Tuna scoring with punches and elbows.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henry goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Dean bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. A nice leg kick lands there from Henry. Dean avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Dean counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Dean trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Dean is working hard here to advance position. Henry is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dean is controlling him. Dean stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Henry swivels though and keeps the full guard. Henry really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dean. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Henry is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Dean trying to control the position from guard on top but Henry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dean is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Henry wants to stand and escape but Dean is having none of it.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Henry tries to kick Dean off but Dean keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Dean controlling the action here. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Dean lands strikes to the head. Dean throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Dean is hanging on to Henry's back as he tries to escape.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Can Henry hold on?! Dean is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.

Dean slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

 Henry is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dean biding his time, controlling Henry. Henry is still in real trouble! Can Dean finish him? Dean lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. A helpless look comes across Henry 's face. He knows he's trapped as Dean lands a series of unanswered strikes. The ref steps in to stop the fight and this one is in the books!
