Blue Lou moves away from the strike by Sanchez. Sanchez misses with a wild body shot. Blue Lou wants to slow Sanchez down by chopping away at his legs. Sanchez misses the shot to the body. Blue Lou appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Blue Lou throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Blue Lou has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Sanchez lands a jab. Sanchez throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Tverdovskiy (ranked 454 p4p, 60 weight class) and Tan Zan (ranked 446 p4p, 58 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tverdovskiy might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Oxxxymiron - Tentacles. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sully digs a good body shot into One's ribs. Sully fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Sully walks into a straight right hand from One.
It looks like Capt Sully has been cut. Decent striking displayed by Sully there. One keeps the fight on the outside. It looked like One wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. One has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Sully. Capt Sully seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sully doesn't manage to clinch there - One circles away.
Sully slips a straight right by One. Sully changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Sully lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Sully bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. One manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sully's best efforts. One tries to get to full guard but Sully has control of the leg. One moves into full guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harper doesn't succeed with the takedown and Nesset connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Harper looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nesset is fending him off so far but Harper persists. Nope, Nesset circles away and we're back to standing. Harper shoots in and bounces Nesset off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Nesset is looking to stand back up but Harper counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Nesset.
Nesset manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Harper keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Nesset blocks an uppercut.
