The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uy avoids a punch combination nicely.
Farrelly scores with a punch to the head.
Farrelly throws a hook to the side of Uy's head but Uy sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Farrelly misses with a wild body shot.

Uy does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Surtr dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Akamaya. That did some damage!
Akamaya takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Akamaya changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Surtr tries to avoid it but Akamaya manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Surtr to the ground. Surtr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Akamaya takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Surtr throws a nice outside leg kick.
Surtr tries a head kick but it misses.
Surtr is looking to slow Akamaya down with leg kicks.

Hawkes cracks Jong Il with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Jong Il falls to his knees and Hawkes doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

Poirot throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Poirot moves away from the strike by Paul.
Paul misses the shot to the body.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Paul crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Poirot - the referee stops the clock and Paul gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Poirot. Paul manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Poirot takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Poirot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Paul takes a swing at Poirot's ribcage but misses.
Paul lands with a big left! Poirot is wobbled badly! Paul comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Poirot to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
