The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Volkanovski fails with an attempt to clinch.
Johnson with a lazy takedown attempt and Volkanovski counters with a three punch combo that has Johnson backing up. Johnson nods at Volkanovski to acknowledge the strikes. Johnson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Johnson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Volkanovski clinches with his opponent.
Johnson is looking to take this one to the mat. Volkanovski working some nice short punches in the clinch. Volkanovski dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage. Johnson blocks an uppercut.

Diaz pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kagawa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Diaz avoids it really well and circles away. Kagawa dives in and grabs Diaz's left leg, looking for a takedown. Diaz pushes down on Kagawa's head and hops out. Diaz keeps the fight on the outside. Diaz was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Kagawa tries to clinch there but Diaz circles away.

Kagawa looks to clinch and Diaz counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Kagawa throws a head kick that misses and Diaz counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Diaz. Diaz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Kagawa tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Diaz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Kagawa is rocked! Kagawa tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. As Kagawa tries to get set, Diaz tries to push him back and clinch up but Kagawa manages to avoid the attempt. Kagawa moves to clinch but Diaz breaks away and Diaz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roberts tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. It looked like Petrov was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Roberts with a poor takedown and Roberts takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Petrov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Roberts is fending him off so far but Petrov persists. Nope, Roberts circles away and we're back to standing. Roberts throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Petrov's waist but Petrov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Roberts off to one side. Petrov throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Petrov tries to bum rush Roberts with a series of wild strikes but Roberts uses good footwork to avoid the assault. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A looping hook to the body misses from Petrov. Roberts does a little dance to reset his feet. Petrov misses with a two punch combination.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Yong enables Gazim to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Yong manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Yong has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Gazim has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Yong looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Gazim tries to circle away but Yong has him pinned against the cage. Gazim wants to get back to striking at distance but Yong won't allow it.
Gazim is looking to break free of the clinch but Yong has double underhooks. Yong misses with a body punch.
Gazim swings wildly with an uppercut but Yong uses good head movement to avoid it. Yong is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gazim to keep the fight standing. Gazim wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Yong's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Gazim throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Yong tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Gazim is in Yong's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Gazim keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Yong's head. Gazim working some strikes from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gazim looking to pass the guard. Gazim lands a couple of elbows. Gazim makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Gazim keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Yong's head.

Gazim working over Yong with some ground and pound. Yong looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Gazim sitting in half guard here. He lands a big elbow that has hurt Yong! Oh, Yong is in big trouble! Gazim lands more strikes and the ref dives in to save him! The fight is over!
