Hopkins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. James Jr tries to avoid it but Hopkins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag James Jr to the ground. James Jr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rossi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Danny's head.
Rossi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Danny on the side of the head.
Rossi is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Rossi drops Danny with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Danny looks back up at him and smiles so Rossi waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Danny gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Rossi points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Danny wakes up just in time to hear Rossi thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Harper shoots in but Gomes avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Trey Harper seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Harper darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Harper is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Gomes is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Harper is tapping! Great win for Gomes!
