Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tony Battafucho (ranked 24198 p4p, 513 weight class) and Azar Weinstein (ranked 22509 p4p, 518 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Azar Weinstein! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Battafucho's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Battafucho duly obliges.
It looks like Azar Weinstein has been cut. Battafucho clinches. Weinstein blocks a body shot from Battafucho. A quick uppercut on the inside from Battafucho. Battafucho stops a takedown attempt from Weinstein.
Battafucho keeps control of Weinstein as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Battafucho can't get the takedown.
Battafucho jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Weinstein walks away with a smile on his face. Battafucho gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Battafucho wants to clinch up but Weinstein keeps it at a distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Battafucho is trying hard to land a takedown here. Weinstein sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. and Battafucho counters with a left and a right that stings Weinstein. Battafucho scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Battafucho rushes Weinstein and presses him up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Battafucho is struggling to control the position. Battafucho is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Weinstein to keep the fight standing. Battafucho successfully pulls guard.
Weinstein is working Battafucho over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Battafucho controls Weinstein momentarily but Weinstein frees himself. Battafucho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Weinstein doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Weinstein manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Battafucho is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Weinstein stands up from Battafucho's guard - Weinstein perhaps looking for a knockout. Weinstein swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Battafucho tries to land a front kick but Weinstein steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Battafucho fails with a takedown attempt. Weinstein displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Battafucho. Weinstein throws a counter combo. Battafucho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Weinstein's waist but Weinstein gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Battafucho off to one side. Battafucho clinches. Battafucho is trying to pull guard but Weinstein turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Battafucho is looking to break free of the clinch but Weinstein has double underhooks. Weinstein gets underhooks to prevent Battafucho's takedown attempt.
Battafucho escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Weinstein closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Battafucho's guard. Weinstein stands up from guard. Let's bang! Weinstein avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Weinstein slaps away a takedown attempt from Battafucho, before circling back to the center of the mat. Weinstein fails with the takedown. Battafucho tries to score a power double leg takedown but Weinstein sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Battafucho somewhat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Weinstein lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Battafucho circles away quickly and effectively. Battafucho will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Battafucho has taken the fight to the clinch.

Battafucho seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Weinstein can turn it around. A frustrated look appears on Weinstein's face as he tries to break the clinch. Battafucho has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Weinstein is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Battafucho has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Weinstein is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Weinstein wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Battafucho creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Weinstein has had enough of the clinch but Battafucho keeps him there for the moment. Battafucho is looking to take this one to the mat. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Weinstein looks to land a right hand but Battafucho moved out of range. Battafucho ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Weinstein has a takedown stuffed. Battafucho tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Weinstein swivels and escapes. Battafucho showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Weinstein.
Weinstein manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Battafucho on his heels. He'll look to pass Battafucho's guard now, I'm sure. Weinstein is standing up over Battafucho. Battafucho looks to escape but Weinstein dives into side control.

Battafucho closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Battafucho tries to break the clinch but Weinstein is controlling the position. Battafucho breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Weinstein throws a right hand that Battafucho ducks under and follows up with a left that Battafucho also avoids with ease. Weinstein doesn't manage to clinch there - Battafucho circles away.

Weinstein takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Weinstein misses with a wild combination.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Battafucho. Weinstein drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Battafucho defends it well. The fight stays on the outside here - Battafucho looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Battafucho lands with a nice combination. Weinstein backs away looking to recover. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Battafucho dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Battafucho shoots in looking for a takedown but Weinstein manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Battafucho's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Weinstein changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Weinstein tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Battafucho goes for a high kick. It partially lands. The fight stays on the outside here - Battafucho looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Weinstein tries to clinch but Battafucho is having none of it. Battafucho closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lestrange fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Black manages to avoid it. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Black. Lestrange looks to score with a jab to the body but Black is just out of range. Lestrange misses with a body punch
and Black counters with a one-two to the body. Lestrange throws a predictable looking body shot
and Black counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Lestrange misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Black.
Lestrange throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Black lands with a shot to the body. Lestrange is breathing heavily. Black tries to land a front kick but Lestrange steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Black lands a nice hook to Lestrange's body. Lestrange takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Black's coach down at The Kegerator - 650$ was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Black's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Black lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Lestrange at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Black throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Black lands a lovely overhand right. Black throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lestrange. Lestrange is looking to wear down Black with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Nice body punch from Black. Black looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Lestrange moves out of range of the body kick. Lestrange takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Black fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lestrange looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Black misses with a series of wild punches.
Black finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Lestrange swings and misses with a shot to the body and Black counters with a crisp one two that drops Lestrange! Black thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lestrange to his feet! Lestrange is in big trouble!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Black thuds a left hand into Lestrange's body. Lestrange takes a body punch but keeps moving. Black throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Lestrange fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Black manages to avoid it. Mister Lestrange seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lestrange moves out of range as Black throws a body kick.
Black throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Lestrange's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Black dives in looking to finish as Lestrange flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Black's strikes! Black is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Lestrange's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Lestrange was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Richter missing with a left hand there. Sitsongrit was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Richter scores with a punch to the head. Richter lands with an uppercut that bounces Sitsongrit off the cage and back into range. Sitsongrit has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Sitsongrit Gym in the buildup to the fight. Richter misses with a hook. Richter throws a right hand that misses
and Sitsongrit counters with a stiff right hand. Richter looks to land a combination but Sitsongrit avoids it well. Richter throws a low kick but Sitsongrit avoids it. Sitsongrit slips under a jab. Donk. Richter catches Sitsongrit right on the button with a cross. Richter throws a hook to the side of Sitsongrit's head but Sitsongrit sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hans Richter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sitsongrit throws a leg kick but Richter checks it. A jab from Richter misses. That kick from Sitsongrit tenderised Richter's leg. Richter is trying to keep his angry face on. A left and a right from Richter both land. Nice combination. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sitsongrit throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Nice shot by Sitsongrit. Richter defending well as Sitsongrit loads up on a big left hand. Richter throws a jab when Sitsongrit was well out of range. Richter has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Sitsongrit shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Sitsongrit avoids the body shot from Richter.
Sitsongrit steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Richter. A looping hook to the body misses from Richter. Sitsongrit does a little dance to reset his feet.

Richter has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sitsongrit finds it's way round the side to connect with Richter's head. Richter will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sitsongrit tried to counter with a leg kick but Richter avoided it. A big right from Richter misses. Sitsongrit displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Richter throws out the jab. Richter lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sitsongrit circles away quickly and effectively. Richter fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sitsongrit manages to avoid it. Richter uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sitsongrit.
Sitsongrit uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Richter. Sitsongrit lands a glancing blow to the side of Richter's head. Richter lands a jab. A punch lands to the side of Sitsongrit 's head but he takes it in his stride. Sitsongrit throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Richter looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Richter thows a left - swing and a miss! Richter takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Richter walks into a left hand. Sitsongrit scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Sitsongrit fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Richter misses with a looping left. Richter moves forwards but Sitsongrit connects with a nice, crisp jab. Sitsongrit ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Richter moves away. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Richter! But no joy. Sitsongrit misses with a body shot.
Sitsongrit slips a straight right by Richter. Richter takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sitsongrit wants to clinch and Richter counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sitsongrit misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Richter.
Richter works over Sitsongrit's head and body with a nice combination. Richter scores with a nice right hand.
Sitsongrit lands with an uppercut that bounces Richter off the cage and back into range. Sitsongrit takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Richter checks a leg kick. Richter moves forwards but Sitsongrit connects with a nice, crisp jab. Richter misses with a combination
and Sitsongrit counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Richter thinking. Richter drops his hands momentarily and Sitsongrit takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Sitsongrit has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Richter finds it's way round the side to connect with Sitsongrit's head. Sitsongrit is looking to chop away at Richter's legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sitsongrit lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sitsongrit throws a lazy right hand but Richter sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Richter throws a counter combo. Richter does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Richter loads up on a big right hand but Sitsongrit slips the punch. Sitsongrit swings away with a leg kick that misses. Sitsongrit scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Sitsongrit ducks under a wild hook from Richter. Richter throws a leg kick but Sitsongrit sees it coming and moves out of range. Sitsongrit throws a jab but it's blocked by Richter. Richter is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Richter connects with a right hand. Sitsongrit shakes it off. Richter fails in his attempt to clinch. Sitsongrit lands an overhand right. Sitsongrit uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Richter. Sitsongrit lets loose with a powerful body kick. Richter will feel that in the morning. Good shot there by Richter. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from Stallion misses the target. Stallion shoots in looking for a takedown. Stomper tries to sprawl out of it but Stallion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Stomper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Stallion fails with the takedown. Stallion tries to clinch but Stomper is having none of it. Stomper is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stallion. Stallion drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Stomper defends it well. Stallion shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Liberal Stomper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harvey Stallion. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stallion wants to clinch up but Stomper keeps it at a distance. Stomper looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Stallion laying and praying for a moment but Stomper takes advantage and regains half guard. Stallion with the ground and pound but Stomper uses the opportunity to regain guard. Stomper utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A head punch on the inside from Stomper fails to land. Stomper has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Stallion has Stomper pressed against the cage, preventing Stomper from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
And that's the end of the fight! Harvey Stallion comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Stallion has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beddo Ii gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Beddo Ii with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Beddo Ii wants to get up but he can't break Tormenta's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Tormenta pivots and extends the arm, Beddo Ii falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Tormenta! Well done that man!
