Cobb comes to the cage accompanied by Miley Cyrus - Party In The U.S.A.. McCraken has chosen Bulgine as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dougal McCraken was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Cobb. Those never looked like landing. McCraken's corner calls for a 1-2. McCraken obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Cobb looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. McCraken scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. McCraken has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cobb. A head kick misses from Cobb. A bone on bone clash there as Cobb blocks the leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! McCraken displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cobb throws out the jab. McCraken walks into a stiff left hand from Cobb. Cobb misses with a jab to the body

McCraken dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Cobb. That did some damage! Cobb throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. McCraken moves into range and connects with a jab. Cobb lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McCraken circles away quickly and effectively. McCraken lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. A solid leg kick lands there for McCraken.

Dougal McCraken decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

It looks like Mister McNasty has been cut. McNasty keeping moving, preventing Giant from controlling successfully. McNasty keeping full guard, as Giant tries to pass. Giant is looking to work some ground and pound but McNasty has wrist control. Giant is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Giant has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of McNasty is proving hard to escape from. Giant trying to control the position from guard on top but McNasty is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Giant is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. A nice leg kick lands there from Toivonen. Toivonen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Toivonen throws a right hand that misses
and Bolleke counters with a lovely straight right hand! Toivonen tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Bolleke's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Toivonen lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Bolleke has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Bolleke and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. And Bolleke tries to counter it with a takedown but Toivonen pushes his down on his head and steps out. Bolleke connects with a looping right hand.
Bolleke shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bolleke lands a couple of elbows. Toivonen is pulling down on Bolleke's head to control his posture. Bolleke loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bolleke missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Toivonen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Toivonen trying to keep a closed guard but Bolleke is proving a slippery customer.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Bolleke throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Toivonen works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bolleke throws a hook but Toivonen avoids it easily. A jab from Toivonen misses. Toivonen scores with a spinning back kick! Thomas Bolleke is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Nice shot by Bolleke.
