The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saric throws out a loose jab but Pony uses good head movement to avoid it.
Saric misses with a low kick.
Pony doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Saric throws a leg kick that is checked
and Pony counters with a crisp one two that drops Saric! Pony thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Saric to his feet! Saric is in big trouble!
Saric throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Pony stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Saric throws a hook to the side of Pony's head but Pony sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pony appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Saric looks to throw the jab but Pony is out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Saric ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Pony moves away.
Pony appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Saric throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pony wants to counter with a clinch but Saric pushes him away.
Saric throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Saric misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Saric cracks Pony with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Pony checks a low kick from Saric.
Despite the aggression on Pony's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Saric connects with a nice looking jab.
Zdravko Saric seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saric keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Saric misses with a straight left.
Pony feints a counter leg kick.
Saric lands a big uppercut and Pony crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Pony looks OK. Saric waves Pony back to his feet!
Pony is rocked!
It looks like Pony Pony has been cut.
Saric has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Saric throws a lazy right hand but Pony sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pony gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Saric points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Pony wakes up just in time to hear Saric thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
