0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jordan Clarkson! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ash shoots in looking for a takedown but Clarkson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ash's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Clarkson has a takedown stuffed. A low kick from Ash is predictable there and Clarkson counters by clinching up. Clarkson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Ash working for a triangle but Clarkson defends it easily.
Clarkson gets to his feet. Ash looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Clarkson clinches. Clarkson decides to pull guard. Clarkson keeping moving, preventing Ash from controlling successfully.

Ash is fighting to break Clarkson's control of his arms but Clarkson is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Ash pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Clarkson is keeping the position for now. Ash looking to sit in guard and control but Clarkson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Ash is looking to improve his position but Clarkson isn't that keen on the idea. Clarkson lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Ash is rocked! Ash defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Clarkson. Oh Ash is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Clarkson content just to control the position here. Clarkson is in the full mount, landing strikes. Clarkson postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Ash in real trouble here! The ref calls for Ash to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raimo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kruger swivels and escapes. Kruger now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Kruger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Raimo tries to avoid it but Kruger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Raimo to the ground. Raimo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Raimo shoots in and drives through. Kruger sprawls well. Raimo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Raimo rushes Kruger and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Raimo as Kruger tries to tie him up. Kruger has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Raimo avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Kruger changes levels and goes for a takedown here. The fight stays on the outside here - Shopper looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Bagietka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shopper pinned against the cage. Shopper gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Bagietka closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shopper successfully pulls guard.
Bagietka gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Bagietka lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bagietka darts in looking for a takedown but Shopper gets double underhooks and turns Bagietka into the cage. Shopper shoots in and bounces Bagietka off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bagietka scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Bagietka forces Shopper back against the cage and clinches. Shopper is trying to pull guard but Bagietka turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Shopper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's going to take a lot out of Walmart Shopper.

Bagietka keeps control of Shopper as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Bagietka pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Bagietka makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Shopper is trying to break the clinch but Bagietka is controlling him. Bagietka tries to pull guard but Shopper won't allow it.

Bagietka dives in and grabs Shopper's left leg, looking for a takedown. Shopper pushes down on Bagietka's head and hops out. Shopper with a poor takedown and Bagietka counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Shopper darts in looking for a takedown but Bagietka gets double underhooks and turns Shopper into the cage. Bagietka swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Bagietka shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shopper pinned against the cage. Shopper gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Shopper throws a left and a right that both miss
and Bagietka counters with a straight right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shopper tries to clinch and Bagietka counters with a three punch combo that has Shopper backing up. Shopper nods at Bagietka to acknowledge the strikes. Shopper walks into a jab. Shopper misses with the combination.
Bagietka throws a big counter combination but Shopper scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Bagietka rushes Shopper and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Bagietka looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Bagietka has Shopper pushed against the cage. Shopper escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Walmart Shopper has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Michal Bagietka is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Shopper stuffs a takedown.
