The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doyle misses with a few strikes there.
Doyle swinging wilding here.
Doyle looks to land a combination but Mendez avoids it well. Doyle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mendez misses with a head kick.
Mendez tries to land a leg kick but Doyle saw it coming and moves away.
Mendez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Doyle throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Mendez. Doyle blocks a head kick by Mendez.
Doyle connects with a solid leg kick. Doyle scores with a one two! Mendez had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Doyle throws a right and a left that both miss. Mendez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Doyle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mendez lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. A punch combination from Doyle misses. Doyle closes the distance and lands a one-two. Doyle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Mendez as he jumps to the side. Doyle misses with a series of wild punches.

Doyle tries to move into range but Mendez moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Mendez avoids a punch combination nicely.

That's one minute gone in the round. Doyle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mendez pinned against the cage. Mendez gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Doyle throws a series of strikes that have Mendez backpedaling.
Mendez takes one to the chin there. Doyle throws a right and a left that Mendez avoids nicely. Good shot there by Mendez. Doyle swinging wilding here.
Doyle closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Mendez explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Mendez chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Doyle can pounce on him.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Mendez. Doyle throws a right hand that Mendez ducks under and follows up with a left that Mendez also avoids with ease. Doyle looks to land a combination but Mendez avoids it well. Doyle looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mendez misses with an attempted mid kick.
Doyle gets caught flat footed, as Mendez shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mendez throwing strikes from guard but Doyle blocks nicely. Doyle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mendez on the ground. Mendez looks gassed! Doyle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mendez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mendez working some strikes from top position. Mendez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Mendez is looking to work some ground and pound but Doyle has wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Mendez content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Mendez throwing strikes but missing. Mendez looking to pass the guard. Doyle escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mendez gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mendez pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Doyle is keeping the position for now. Doyle wants to sweep here but Mendez controlling him for the moment. Randy Doyle is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mendez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. No joy there for Doyle, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Doyle cracks the inside of Mendez's front leg. Mendez shoots in but Doyle avoids the takedown attempt easily. A left lands for Mendez. A head kick misses from Mendez. Doyle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mendez sprawls well initially but Doyle persists and gets the takedown into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mendez can do anything to dispel that myth. Doyle tries to pass to full mount but Mendez defends it. Mendez is trying to get back to full guard. Mendez regains full guard. Nicely done. Mendez is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mendez keeping full guard, as Doyle tries to pass. Doyle won't allow Mendez to sweep him here. Doyle trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Doyle is looking to stand up but Mendez won't let him.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Good exchange - Doyle coming out on top. Doyle keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Nice sprawl there from Mendez as Doyle shoots in. Doyle fails to land with a series of punches.

Doyle changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mendez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Mendez manages to work his way to half guard, despite Doyle's best efforts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doyle wants to free his trapped foot but Mendez is holding on for dear life with his legs. Mendez wants to get back to his feet. Mendez tries to get to full guard but Doyle has control of the leg. Mendez moves into full guard.
Mendez is looking for a triangle but Doyle pushes his legs off easily.
Mendez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Doyle gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mendez lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Doyle!

Doyle is rocked! Mendez lands a big elbow. Oh Doyle is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Tony Mendez has got the better of the ground game so far. Doyle takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Doyle tries to get back to half guard but can't. BOOM! Mendez connects with a massive shot to the dome!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Mendez scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Doyle?

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mendez raining down shots from the mount! Doyle is in a horrible position here. Mendez smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Mendez working for a submission but Doyle is keeping him at bay. Mendez looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mendez breaks from Doyle's wrist control and lands an elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tony Mendez showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Doyle drops his hands momentarily. Mendez doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Doyle staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Doyle doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Negrete lands a with a good body shot. Negrete throws a combination. Flanders tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Flanders misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Flanders takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Flanders shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Negrete but Negrete pushes him off and we're back to square one. Flanders misses with a takedown attempt - Negrete sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ned Flanders. That's going to take a lot out of him. Flanders tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Negrete swivels and escapes. Ned Flanders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Flanders scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Flanders is breathing heavily. Flanders trying to mount his opponent but Negrete defends it. Negrete manages to get to full guard.
Negrete wants to sweep but no luck. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Flanders stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Negrete swivels though and keeps the full guard. Flanders postures up.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Negrete is on top in guard.

Negrete passes Flanders's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Still in half guard, Negrete seems content to control. Flanders slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Flanders has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Negrete doesn't defend quickly enough and Flanders has managed to lock this one up! Can Negrete escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Flanders on a fantastic submission victory.

The fighters circling - Cobain throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hansen drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hansen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cobain has escaped the position, nice work there. Cobain really is a fat lump. Hansen goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Cobain rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Hansen's guard! Nice work there by Cobain! Cobain thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cobain has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hansen to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Cobain is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hansen pulls down on the head and he's put Cobain to sleep! This one is all over!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gronkman can do anything to dispel that myth. Woodford in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Woodford is looking to work some ground and pound but Gronkman has wrist control. Woodford has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Woodford preventing the sweep. Woodford is pushing down on Gronkman's leg trying to pass to half guard. Gronkman is fighting to maintain full guard but Woodford has managed to sneak the leg through. Gronkman wants to improve his position but Woodford is controlling well.

Woodford closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gronkman circles away. Woodford throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gronkman's waist but Gronkman gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Woodford off to one side. Woodford circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Gronkman drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Woodford follows Gronkman to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Boombatz or perhaps it was just good defense by Hall which made him look bad. Boombatz shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hall but Hall pushes him off and we're back to square one. Hall closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Boombatz to the mat! Boombatz manages to get full guard. Hall wanted to stand there but Boombatz had control of the position. Hall drops back looking for a leg! Boombatz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Boombatz manages to kick Hall off! Hall jumps back into Boombatz's guard. Boombatz stacks Hall on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Boombatz! Hall is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Boombatz is controlling him well.

Hall wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Boombatz, who protects the arm well. Boombatz parries the strikes from Hall easily there. Hall is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Boombatz to escape.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hall can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Boombatz wants to sweep but no luck. Hall postures up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Yin to the ground! Mac dives into full mount looking to finish!
Yin is rocked!
It looks like Quik Yin has been cut. Mac stands up from mount. Strange move. Yin is still on wobbly legs! Can Mac finish him? Yin fails with the takedown. Yin fails to land the takedown. Yin avoids the head kick by Mac.
Mac pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mac throws a head kick that misses. Yin seems to have recovered his senses. Mac misses with a head kick.
Yin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Yin trying to move into half guard but instead Mac has managed to sweep! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Yin is trying to control the position but Mac postures up. Yin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Yin isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mac decides to take the fight back to the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yin shoots for a double leg takedown but Mac sprawls well. He's pushed Yin's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Justin Mac has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Quik Yin. No luck for Yin with that takedown attempt. Mac tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Yin drives through with a takedown into guard. Yin trying to control but Mac is working from the bottom. Yinis looking to pass into half guard but Mac pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Mac is in guard. Yin wants to hit a switch here but Mac passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Yin there! Yin is trying to escape the mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Yin regains half guard. Yin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Yin regains full guard. Nicely done. Mac has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Yin to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Mac is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Yin pulls down on the head and he's put Mac to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Atom closes the distance and clinches up with Corncrab, looking for a takedown. Atom pushes Corncrab against the cage but Corncrab circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Atom shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Corncrab but Corncrab pushes him off and we're back to square one. Corncrab fails with an attempt to clinch.
Atom closes the distance and clinches up with Corncrab, looking for a takedown. Atom pushes Corncrab against the cage but Corncrab circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adam Atom. That's going to take a lot out of him. Corncrab stuffs the takedown. Atom tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Corncrab counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Corncrab tries to pass to full mount but Atom defends it. Corncrab wants to lay and pray for a moment but Atom keeps working. Atom is looking to improve his position.

Atom has his takedown stuffed and Corncrab counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Atom is breathing heavily. Corncrab stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Atom swivels though and keeps the full guard. Corncrab drops back looking for a leg! Atom is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Atom manages to kick Corncrab off! Corncrab jumps back into Atom's guard. Corncrab trying to control but Atom is working from the bottom. Atom utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Atom looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Corncrab, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
