The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Patrankoms is looking to clinch but BeatYourAssBoy is avoiding it.
BeatYourAssBoy throws a counter combo. BeatYourAssBoy rushes Patrankoms with punches - Patrankoms moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Patrankoms goes down! BeatYourAssBoy follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Poor Pal! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rock gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Pal darts in trying to clinch and Rock makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Jab from Rock. Poor Pal seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rock walks into a left hand. Pal cracks Rock with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
It looks like Steve Rock has been cut. Pal lands a body shot.
Pal steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rock. Rock misses with the combination.
As Rock backs off Pal throws a huge counter combo but Rock manages to avoid it all. Nice defenses there by Pal. Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Pal throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Rock is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Poor Pal! A very excited looking Poor Pal made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hideki Matsui! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good standup being displayed there by Matsui as he connects with a hook. Matsui lands with an overhand left. Pimpalas fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Matsui feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Pimpalass jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Matsui works the jab nicely. Matsui feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Pimpalas sprawling to the canvas! Pimpalas rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Matsui finish him?!
Pimpalas is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Matsui measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Pimpalas! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Le Vega moves into the clinch successfully.
Come on De Le Vega - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Gaga has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. De Le Vega avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Gaga's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. De Le Vega thows a leg kick but Gaga checks it so Gaga counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Gaga is standing up over De Le Vega. De Le Vega looks to escape but Gaga dives into side control.
De Le Vega knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gaga on the ground. Gaga content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. De Le Vega wants to control but Gaga postures up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gaga tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. De Le Vega regains half guard, as Gaga was trying to land strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gaga is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
De Le Vega wants to get back to full guard. De Le Vega gets full guard. De Le Vega wants to sweep but no luck. Gaga's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. It looks like Gaga might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Gaga wants to control from the top but De Le Vega keeps moving. De Le Vega wants to control the position but Gaga says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Gaga seems to be looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Le Vega wants to improve his position but Gaga is controlling well.
Gaga is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Gaga wants to stand but De Le Vega has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Gaga is looking to stall here but De Le Vega recovers full guard. Gaga stopping the sweep attempt from De Le Vega.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. De Le Vega has his foot on Gaga's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gaga works his way back into a safe position though.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Gaga fails with the takedown and De Le Vega counters with a nice double leg into guard. De Le Vega is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Gaga keeping moving, preventing De Le Vega from controlling successfully. De Le Vega with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Gaga has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but De Le Vega can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gaga can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as De Le Vega controls the pace. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Gugu Gaga will probably get the nod. That's time! De Le Vega's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Gaga throws a series of punches but De Le Vega moves out of range. De Le Vega drives through and clinches with Gaga against the cage.
De Le Vega tightens his grip and picks Gaga up, before dumping him to the ground. Gaga manages to land in guard. De Le Vega lands a couple of elbows. Gaga looking for a sweep. Not yet Gaga, not yet. De Le Vega seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Gaga is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Le Vega slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Gaga had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. De Le Vega defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gaga is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst De Le Vega is controlling him. De Le Vega wants to control from the top but Gaga keeps moving. De Le Vega showing good wrestling skills to control the position. De Le Vega postures up.
De Le Vega working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gaga's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Gaga bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in De Le Vega's guard. Gaga trying to control the position from guard on top but De Le Vega is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gaga preventing the sweep. Gaga passes easily into side control. Nice work. Gaga tries to score with some ground and pound. De Le Vega controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Gaga in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Gaga has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for De Le Vega! Gaga sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
That's three minutes gone in the round. De Le Vega defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Gaga. De Le Vega is trying to reverse the position but instead Gaga has taken his back - oops! Gaga thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent. Gaga has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. De Le Vega has hold of Gaga's leg, trying to break free but it's let Gaga lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! De Le Vega is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Gaga throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
