This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 3 losses; Jack Lynn! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 7 wins and 5 losses; Ebyn Dall! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Dall gets a takedown into half guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Lynn (0) vs (2) Dall Lynn is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dall's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dall's back! Score +4 for clean sweep to past guard: Lynn (4) vs (2) Dall Dall trying to control but not successfully. You can see the frustration on Dall's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Dall wants to control his opponent's hands but Lynn gets his hands free. Lynn trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Dall doesn't escape. Dall tries to escape but Lynn has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Dall fending off the submission attempt from Lynn. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dall trying to control but not successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dall showing good submission defense here.
That's one minute gone in the round. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.

Dall just trying to survive but Lynn is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Dall tries to escape but Lynn has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Dall staying busy and making it hard for Lynn to control. Dall wants to escape the position.
Dall breaks Lynn's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Lynn (4) vs (4) Dall The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lynn managing to control the position. Lynn is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lynn keeping moving, preventing Dall from controlling successfully. Dall looking to sit in guard and control but Lynn gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Lynn (6) vs (4) Dall Dall has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Lynn should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Dall has tightened it up now! Lynn should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Chooooooooon! I think Morrison Jr. might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Face The Pain. Lee has chosen The Pretender as his entrance music. The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Morrison Jr. changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lee looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Morrison Jr. (4) vs (0) Lee Lee tries to improve position but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morrison Jr. trying to control the action but Lee is working from the bottom. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee is looking to reverse the position. Lee manages to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Lee. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lee holds on and takes a little breather. Lee tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee controls Morrison Jr. momentarily but Morrison Jr. frees himself. Morrison Jr. slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Score +3 for passing guard: Morrison Jr. (7) vs (0) Lee Morrison Jr. working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Morrison Jr. is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lee knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Lee gets back to half guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Lee has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Morrison Jr. has passed into side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Morrison Jr. tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Lee is trying to get back to half guard. Morrison Jr. wants to control but Lee is keeping him busy. Lee felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Morrison Jr. works to advance to full mount. Lee defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Score +2 for reaching mount: Morrison Jr. (12) vs (0) Lee Lee tries to lock up and control but Morrison Jr. gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Lee prevents Morrison Jr. from improving his position. Lee wants to take a breather but Morrison Jr. is having none of it. Morrison Jr. has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Morrison Jr. bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lee's guard. Score +2 for sweep to guard / half guard: Morrison Jr. (17) vs (7) Lee Morrison Jr. is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Morrison Jr. trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Lee looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Morrison Jr. has picked Lee up and slammed him! Lee can't keep hold of the triangle and Morrison Jr. manages to pass to side control! Lee tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Morrison Jr. wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. Lee manages to get back to half guard. Morrison Jr. stalling away here and it's allowed Lee to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Morrison Jr. looking to pass the guard. Morrison Jr. is working hard here to advance position. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lee is on top in guard.

Morrison Jr. is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Morrison Jr. really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Morrison Jr. is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lee wants to control but Morrison Jr. is keeping him busy. Lee controlling the pace.
