Mox stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Carter swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Carter is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Lonov scores with a crisp jab that stopped Johns in his tracks.
Johns shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Johns showed some decent athleticism there.
Lonov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Johns is cranking Lonov's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Lonov! He's tightened the choke and Lonov is tapping out!

Bin Laden has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Fraga doesn't defend quickly enough and Bin Laden has managed to lock this one up! Can Fraga escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Bin Laden on a fantastic submission victory.

Shufutinskiy is trying to control Mephistopheles's posture but Mephistopheles avoids it.
Mephistopheles has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Shufutinskiy is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mephistopheles yanks on the arm and Shufutinskiy is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mephistopheles.
