1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Rita Stienis! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Stienis. Kelly shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Stienis looks like he's trying to stand up.
Stienis is trying to maintain the position but Kelly is very close to passing his half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stienis regains full guard. Nicely done. Kelly wants to control from the top but Stienis keeps moving. Kelly is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stienis wants to stand up but Kelly is controlling him. Stienis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Stienis working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kelly doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kelly manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Stienis is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kelly controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Stienis rushes Kelly and presses him up against the cage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Stienis pulls guard. Kelly decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Stienis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Stienis wants to clinch up but Kelly keeps it at a distance. Kelly is looking to counter punch. Stienis has Kelly up against the cage in a clinch.

Stienis has his foot on Kelly's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kelly works his way back into a safe position though. Stienis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Stienis is thwarting Kelly's attempts to control the position. Stienis is controlling the pace.

Stienis missing with the ground and pound from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

and Stienis makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Kelly really felt that one! Kelly leaves Stienis with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stienis clinches up against the cage. Kelly tries to pull guard but Stienis won't allow it.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stienis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kelly is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Mike Kelly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rita Stienis.

Stienis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Stienis throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Kelly tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Stienis is in Kelly's guard. Stienis is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Stienis forces his way into half guard. Stienis content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Rita Stienis has got the better of the ground game so far. Stienis drops an elbow to the side of Kelly's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stienis lands strikes from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stienis is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Stienis throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Stienis connects with a nice short shot to Kelly's temple. Stienis is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Kelly has hold of Stienis's hands but Stienis slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Stienis frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Kelly is controlling an arm, preventing Stienis from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stienis with shots to the head and body - Kelly looks very uncomfortable down there. Stienis lands a heavy elbow. Stienis wants to control the pace but Kelly is squirming around nicely. Stienis with good strikes from the mount here! Stienis scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Kelly?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stienis breaks from Kelly's wrist control and lands an elbow. Stienis putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Stienis looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Stienis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Stienis has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stienis wants to control the pace but Kelly is squirming around nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rita Stienis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Stienis looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Stienis leaves Kelly with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Stienis steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Kelly. Stienis changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kelly tries to avoid it but Stienis manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kelly to the ground. Kelly escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mike Kelly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rita Stienis. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stienis closes the distance and clinches up with Kelly, looking for a takedown. Stienis pushes Kelly against the cage but Kelly circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Stienis lands a nice looking kick to the body. Kelly takes a step back to recover. Stienis tries to clinch up. Stienis throws a sloppy head kick and Kelly moves out of range easily.

Kelly ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Kelly misses with a combination
letting Stienis counter with a right hand. Kelly gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kelly wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Stienis manages to pass to side control. Kelly is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stienis stalling. Stienis passes to full mount! Stienis lands a heavy elbow. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Stienis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stienis is landing with some decent strikes but Kelly is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Kelly tries to hold on but Stienis postures up. Stienis controlling the pace for now. Let's hope that Stienis has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Stienis lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stienis with a couple of short strikes. Stienis looking to control but Kelly is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Stienis controlling the position easily from mount. Kelly tries to lock up and control but Stienis gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stienis landing strikes, looking to finish! Stienis landing strikes from the mount and Kelly is in trouble! Mike Kelly has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rita Stienis is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Stienis controlling his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! Rita Stienis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stienis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smokebandit thows a leg kick but Doffleberg checks it and Doffleberg counters with a takedown into side control. Doffleberg creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Doffleberg in side control lands a decent elbow. Smokebandit is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Smokebandit taking a bit of punishment here - Doffleberg scoring with strikes. Smokebandit wants to control but Doffleberg postures up. Smokebandit prevents Doffleberg from improving position. Doffleberg wants to lay and pray for a moment but Smokebandit keeps working. Smokebandit holds on to Doffleberg's head and controls the position momentarily. Doffleberg working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Doffleberg works to advance to full mount. Smokebandit defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Smokebandit is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Doffleberg trying to control the position from guard on top but Smokebandit is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smokebandit has momentary wrist control but Doffleberg slips an elbow through the middle.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Connar Cage! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryohei Horie! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cage instigates a clinch. Cage scores with a shoulder strike. Horie tries to stall but Cage uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Horie wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Horie looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Cage gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Horie regains guard.
Cage passes Horie's left leg - he's now in half guard. Still in half guard, Cage seems content to control. Cage is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Cage escapes and gets back to his feet. Cage scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Horie is trying to escape back to his feet but Cage uses the scramble to pass into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cage. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cage advances nicely into full mount. Horie is wriggling around trying to escape.
Cage controlling the position easily from mount. Horie looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Cage is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Horie with him. Horie is trying to defend but Cage has an arm under the chin now! Horie grimaces and is forced to tap out!
