And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cadderly Bonaduce!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Franklyn Lucas and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Beast throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bonaduce was covering up waiting for the punch and Beast finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bonaduce controls Beast momentarily but Beast frees himself.
Beast wants to pass the guard but Bonaduce is keeping the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Beast decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Bonaduce.
Bonaduce throws a sloppy head kick and Beast moves out of range easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Beast closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Bonaduce wants to control but Beast is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Beast looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bonaduce with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Bonaduce taking some punishment here, with Beast in his half guard.
Beast is taking a breather. Bonaduce says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Beast has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Beast has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Beast is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bonaduce can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Beast controlling the pace for now.
Bonaduce stops Beast from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bonaduce is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Beast working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Bonaduce is trying desperately to improve position.

Beast controlling from the full mount.

Beast looking to secure an arm triangle but Bonaduce defends it well.
Beast controlling the pace for now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bonaduce is bucking up trying to escape but Beast cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Suppa Beast dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Cadderly Bonaduce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Beast.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Beast has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Beast working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Bonaduce turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Beast off and cradles Bonaduce's limp body as Beast celebrates with his corner.

Reid showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bisping J.
Reid tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Bisping J manages to circle out of the way.
Reid looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Bisping J sends Reid crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bisping J is motioning to the referee to let Reid up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Eric Reid has been cut.
Bisping J has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Reid is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Reid darts in looking for a takedown but Bisping J gets double underhooks and turns Reid into the cage.
Bisping J cracks Reid with a left hook right on the temple and Reid goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Bisping J lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Reid is OK!

Scon has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Arellano finds it's way round the side to connect with Scon's head.

Scon tries to move into range but Arellano moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

and Scon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Scon shoots for a takedown but Arellano saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Arellano is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Arellano will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Scon changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Scon sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Arellano's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
