Pipi Jr lands a lovely overhand right.

Madsen pushes Pipi Jr up against the cage in a clinch.
Pipi Jr is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Madsen is defending well for now.

Madsen manages to pull guard.

Pipi Jr postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Madsen is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pipi Jr, into his guard.

Pipi Jr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Pipi Jr can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Madsen controls the pace.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nelson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Pipi is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Weenus has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Weenus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
